Have you ever found rp games similar to AC? And if so were they better or worth playing?!

This is an interesting question.

Aside from the obvious Stardew Valley answer, maybe Cozy Grove?

Animal Crossing is unique in the way it presents itself. Particularly, the friendship and bond dynamic with the villagers you create. (sadly, I do feel a bit of that is becoming lost in favor of focus on customization).

Disney Dreamlight Valley
The game is like a Disney-themed version of Animal Crossing, featuring beloved characters as villagers and a multitude of quests and things to do.

I tried a lot of games but there is nothing that hits the spot like animal crossing. Ofc there are cozy games like farming games (story of seasons, stardew valley) or ac insipired games but nothing is as good really.

Honestly no, Animal Crossing is such a specific type of game.

Cozy Crove has the real time aspect, but it still progress like a regular game afaik.
Night in the Woods has the same type of animal characters, but that's just a narrative game.
Castaway Paradise is a knockoff that doesn't do anything right honestly, you'll feel no reason to do anything in the game.#

Most cozy games would rather try to knockoff Stardew Valley or tell a story rather than being an endless thing.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure felt close to an AC game, but you play as an animal and interact with multiple Sanrio characters.
Unfortunately, it needs an Apple arcade subscription and I did get to play for a bit with a free Apple Arcade trial, it was a nice game.

I'd also say that Disney Dreamlight Valley feels the most similar when it comes to game play style-- you can fish, mine, craft, and decorate. Time also passes the same way it does in Animal Crossing, it doesn't tick away minutes by the second the way it does in Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon games. (I'm looking for more cozy games that eliminate that sense of urgency with time to be honest!) That said, I prefer Animal Crossing to Dreamlight Valley because it's more polished. In my experience, Dreamlight Valley is a bit buggy. It's still a really pretty game though and has charm if you have a lot of nostalgia or love for Disney movies.

I'm really curious about Hello Kitty Island Adventure! I'm pretty sure that one's getting released to consoles sometime next year-- I've heard really amazing things about it so far.

Personally, no. Whilst I adore stardew, it’s very different with its farming, mine and storyline mechanics. Disney Dreamlight and Cozy Grove are both very much fetch quests. Story of Seasons and Rune Factory are good too but also heavily rely on that farming and monster hunting game play. Animal crossing is pretty unique in my opinion.

It’s coming to Switch and I’m considering picking it up then!
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it.

I’m hoping Tales Of The Shire will be similar gameplay wise, it looks like it will be…just swap out the animals for hobbits.

I played a demo of everafter falls a while ago and it was similar. It is early access on steam.

MySims DS somewhat reminds me of Animal Crossing. Then again, New Horizons is my first and only AC game.
