Is there any reason to keep gyroids?

In my last acnl game, I tried to keep every one of my gyroids in the upstairs museum and wound up with a huge mess of them that I never used. I was wondering if there is any real reasoning to keeping them, and if not which ones do you guys keep if any?

Not really, unless of course you want to keep them for a collection or trade it for people who want collections.

Well, you can put them in club lol, only four though. Umm, they aren't really useful for anything else. If you want to complete the catalog 100% like I did you would also need to collect them all, but I just sell them right after. I only keep the dingloids, echoids, and lullaboids since they sound the nicest to me. I usually give those to villagers when they ask for furniture.

I use them for decoration in my house. They make nice little patrons/workers.

I keep the gyroids that match my rooms. When I get bored with the gyroid band in Club LOL, I replace them with the next four I find and sell the old four on the the flea market at Re-Tail. I am saving the freakoids for Halloween, and sometimes I like to whip them out to watch them scream.

I used the 4 Brewster gyroids in my Club LOL. I sell all the rest.

I agree with all of the comments above! I personally like to collect them, but I only really hold on to my favorites. The can be quite entertaining.

I have a room for gyroids in the museum. and I have the tootoids in my lovely room. because yes. I need the mini tootoid so bad
I'm thinking of putting some in my astro room too. just not sure which ones.

I sell mine tbh but i should really start hoarding them for those who want to complete their catalog like me. I'm missing maybe 25 and my towns not giving me any of them :/

Me and my boyfriend have a competition of the biggest gyroid army, I also love just going into my museum room that I am storing them and listening to them chime off together, it's super cool. I wish I could must the museum music to just hear them go tho...

I only keep the ones that I like. They add charm and interesting sounds to my room, to get a better feel of the atmosphere. My quazoids are in my outer space room and fit nicely. My nebuloids are in my Sci-Fi room and fit nicely as well.

They're fun to collect, but there's no real point of keeping them if you don't want them! You can get a decent amount of bells for selling them too.

That's essentially what I did with my old town. It just got too crazy and I wasn't going to use them for anything (which is why I am asking everyone, because if there is no need for them I don't want them). I will probably still wind up doing it again though....
