So I guess the rumors that the Frozen Diys were hacked were false. I mean how did anyone not know about this but Nookazon did? It boggles my mind!

Is this Alternate Method of getting Snowboy Diys true?

Hiya, I'm that user from that post!
This was waaaaay back in early June, though. I admit I'm fuzzy on the details.
The user was new but maybe not brand new, and likely had the tent down.
The snowboy just didn't change his tune after that interaction in the screenshots, and I never got any DIY cards or snowflakes.
I'm going to try this again because I've got a bit of extra time on my hands right now! I'm curious!

Okay, I'm back!
Something's had to have been changed around since June. This is definitely new
I made this user under the same conditions I remember from June:
-Established for a a few days before making the Snowboy
-Tent down
-I even jumped into July and back for extra measure
I've gone three days and made three (perfect) Snowboys, and I only got a recipe from the first one.
I think the only way to grind out DIY cards is to do this one per new resident, because #2 and #3 said the same 'Wow, even after I sent you the recipe'.
