Is this possible with turnips to do this Time Travel?

My friend has a 3DS and they said their turnips were selling for over 5oo bells So I wondered..

Is it possible for me to Time Travel back to sunday morning and buy up HEAPS of turnips, and then to visit them and sell them at my friends place? Or is there some glitch or something they have included that when you Time Travel that Joan who sells turnips won't appear?

Nope! I do it myself. TT back to Sunday, buy turnips, go to to your friend's and sell. Easy peasy! They won't spoil unless you go past Saturday.
