Is your characters name your real name?

I did have a Dorian character, but deleted him, LOL! Now no one has my real name

I treated her as if she was me

No, I don't think I've ever had a character in game with my real name... I always used to pick names from other characters I had for other things, or names I always wished were mine, these days I either pick names I just kinda like, or names had wanted to name children but didn't get to (I'm done having kids at this point so theres a list I never got to use lol) and sometimes I pick names based on the theme of the town. Most of them all have my birthday though just because I'm too lazy to pick them out new birthdays haha

I always use my nickname Jules for any game, which I also go by online. Any other name just doesn't feel right to me.

Nope...my real name is boring, and I usually pick names of characters from my novel attempts or I use video game character names for my mule characters.

And yes. My mayor always has my name, Cara. But the rest of the characters are named after whatever theme I'm going for. Like, my current town is based on Pokemon. So the mayor is Cara, but the other two are Red and Joy. Idk who my last person will be, though. It's going to be a shop keeper, but they're never named in the games.

no. when first playing the game, I almost used my irl name but i'm glad I didn't because mayor isabelle and having a secretary of the same name would be annoying and weird; at the time, I had no idea isabelle was a character aha.
my first mayor's name was called Avalon and my current mayor's name is giselle

Nope, mine (Reira or variations if it's taken) is the name I use for all games, online or not....and I have played a lot. So it's like a game/Internet alias.

I always think it's funny that my mayor's name is Belle, I have a secretary named Isabelle, Label goes by the professional name of "LaBelle" and money is called bells. Also, there's a villager named Bella.
