Island Entrance Struggles

Mine is only 5 spaces away from my airport, but I'm happy with mine. Mine goes around to the right so I've forced people to take another kind of entrance towards my island, so it's more interesting I suppose.

my RS is also pretty close to my airport and it doesn't line up like yours so I'm actually a little jealous haha

that being said, I actually quite like how you have your entrance set up atm, but if you're wanting to have more of a fancy waterfalls type area leading to your RS building you've actually got quite a bit of room!! I managed to fit in a little bit of terraforming and waterfall action at my entrance and it doesn't actually take up as much room as you'd think! :)

Actually, I think once those bushes are in, your entrance will look super pretty. Maybe you could add a couple more streetlamps where the bases of that rock are, and some more bushes lining the airport base?

I have changed up the look of my entrance so many times its getting annoying now haha. I have the wedding arch by the front with pink azalea bushes and pink, red and white roses everywhere. Then behind that I have waterfalls with 2 Valiant Statues facing each other .

I already posted in this thread, but here's a picture of my entrance taken from the plane. I have no space to make a nice entrance. I'm actually jealous of how much space you have

I actually really like this! The fact that it's not perfectly aligned really helps, in my opinion, the corners in the path makes it more interesting and pleasing to the eye, adding a little bit more of a natural feeling to the place!

You could maybe play with moving those two houses elsewhere so you have room to experiment and build, or making their yards more symmetrical with each other so it all feels like one big entryway piece?
I don't really want to move the houses, because I do like the residential area being straight as you come out the airport, plus the house on the left actually is part of a conjoined garden - it's Del's house which shares a garden with Alli's house as I headcanon them as a married couple. I might play around with where houses are though - I was planning on doing the same with Ken and Plucky's gardens since I also headcanon them as a couple, but their houses were going to be further back - I might switch it around so there's two conjoined gardens on either side as you come out (which would also probably help with what I can put down, as these gardens have more space than the other gardens I've given to single houses.
