Mafia Island Madness - Town Wins

frankly, im not looking to vote guava dino or dedenne yet. both dont have much thread control and if maf, they're not our biggest threat. im not sold on them as maf either. but are either LHF, or wolves that will become obvious when their more controlling teammates are taken out

im more focused on solving epona, shawo, geoni, and volt since I think the danger is there and should be taken care asap
 
Do they get to reuse the same person and clue? Or is it a new clue if the same member killed again

For a lot of reasons I still think town, although she's not completely out of her wolfrange she's not done things I've seen and could be in deep. She's not locked, if anything, but for the sake of sanity I've been keeping her as green.

just to address this i was on mobile and had no idea what was going on, i had barely skimmed through page 35 until EOD and i hadn't looked at the voting thread at all so i literally had no clue what the wagons were or why people were changing
this was why i wanted to vote no elim because i didn't feel like i had enough information to go off to make an informed vote but i decided to go with someone i had an earlier sus on instead. i considered changing my vote to cake but i again didn't have enough actual knowledge of the case against them so i just stuck on dino

yes, I made the claim that we need to work together and form a good PoE. But i also say this in a thread i dedicated towards this discussion. i think these factors are what make a strong town, and general in fighting and lack of cohesion plays a part in town losses. If town aren’t working together, they cannibalize, simple as that. I argue any town should be doing this, and this is not exclusive to any member. a strong town core that won’t give into needless mischops are wolves worst enemy when they can’t cast doubt onto them

i also made the statement that town does weird and unexplained things, but that doesnt make them wolves in this thread too. which is why i think the “I dont understand this as town” is not as strong as “I see/dont see a wolf motive behind this”. Sometimes its just hard to understand town, that’s why mischops happen. if town was crystal clear, they’d never be sussed. there are just some minor things that you just need to let go off when youre looking at the big picture of whats happening

I genuinely could not understand why alek was so gun-ho on this being a slip, when this is just my general philosophy. i can point you to many guides that say forming a strong town is very important. it doesn’t matter who town is, they should be doing this. to say town shouldn’t always be doing this i think is very misguided

im currently TLing alek, so i hope we dont need to keep arguing on this cuz it just seems were not understanding each other. you dont need to trust my claim, but at least understand that i am trying to prevent whats being causing town to self destruct lately. i believe we can move foward from this mischop to work together and not need to yell at each other for no real benefit

i really only expect alek to care about this wall so I hope this quells that suspicion since it took up too much of the EoD time. I dont feel this arguing about this any further since no one else seems to care

me being super busy during EoD hurt my ability to think back on points like these, so here is my thoughtful response

You're misreading my point. My point being is that it is hard for someone who is town-aligned to make a generalization on how Town behaves when they are unaware of who the town is. It makes more sense that mafia have an overrall opinion on how Town behaves as they need to consider how town behaves in order to blend in. It also makes sense that they can more easily form an opinion regarding how Town behaves due to knowing who is Town.

Generalizing how town behaves not only hurts the game for town but can effect how we should be viewing the game. We should be understanding motives behind actions and determining if they are lies or the truth.

Regardless, we need to have a gameplan regarding how to process through day 2 and solve this. Here are some things I feel like we should solve:
1. Damniel claimed Doctor, we should see if anyone else is a doctor and if no one counterclaims, we should clear him for now.
2. We need to look at EOD and determine wtf was that. Who was gonna be voted off before Cake is also important.
3. Determine the riddle and have a possible list of characters that fall under that list.

I didn't believe Guava was scum either. The only 3 people I have been suspicious of so far are Dedenne, Epona, and Damniel for reasons previously stated. As I stated last game I played, I don't vote for people I don't believe are scum.

glow and me (town), volt, guava, and dedenne

im actually not sure how much wolves pushed this wagon. guava and dedenne weren't leading it, so if anything wolves were more complacent in it imo

I mean I skimmed it at parts too but I was still able to work my way towards being confident enough to elim somebody. That's the questionable thing about it for me, like it's actually a point towards you not having that agendad vibe I get from you when you're a wolf, but it's still like...not showing that drive to solve? You have a nice 47 1/2 hours now so there's that.

Me can right you and glow off for no obviously. I wouldn’t say guava is sus for vote cause thats just self preservation. volt and dedenne, possible.
