Mafia Island Madness - Town Wins

What is Hikari supposed to be doing exactly then?

Knowing Damniel, if he is town then this is some 4D chess **** he's trying to pull off.
im unsure but im interested in hearing their thought process and what others have to say

it’s not really anything crazy. i just wanted to start discussion and throwing a vote in was a good way of doing that

Ok, so what is your train of thought regarding Hikari?

Regarding the change of vote, why did you change your "random vote" from Geoni to Hikari.

I don’t know what good that does to anyone honestly

i said it before

i have no reason to keep my vote on geo there's no need to keep it

i think with tbt forum mafia throwing out random votes for no reason other than to 'generate discussion' is more of a distraction than it's worth because it's not the convention here

like we've spent a decent chunk of the thread so far discussing daniel's votes which by his own admission mean absolutely nothing and i don't think it's providing any valuable or fruitful information lol

yeah i said my thoughts on hikari in the last page. it doesnt need to result in a hard read im just curious

well, what else do we talk about? you dont seem to be interested in much else besides waiting for others to respond

like if im being distracting... that must mean there's something else more interesting happening? if so, id like to hear what you think it is

Did voting geoni really have any meaningful outcome
well, we got a few interesting reactions from hikari and ace on it. so i think its just fine. I was hoping geo wouldve come last night to say something, but i guess he didn't

think of it like this, if I didn't vote for geo, what would have we had talked about? who our favorite villagers are? that's just fluff and i wasn't interested in that

Sorry, let me rephrase. What was your train of though regarding to choose Hikari as the vote instead of Geoni? I believe your reasoning to sus them was a "lack of questioning" similar to Ace's read on you.

i dont feel the need to answer this for now but votes aren't simply for just susses. i never once articulated a SR on hikari

in other news, i looked back and glow and cake had one joke comment to make, was hoping for more from them but im sure they'll come around

oh i also think that volt was off to a good start. they seemed pretty eager to solve which is a good early sign

there's nothing more interesting happening but people have gotten bogged down in investigating the meaning behind votes that don't have a meaning

it's easy for people to hide behind that and i don't think it's any less fluffy a conversation than favourite villagers
that's just my opinion tho. hopefully more people will materialise soon

We should do a reqs to move the conversation alittle bit more.

I'll write it up after class.

i would argue that at talking about a vote is at least more substantial than talking about villagers (until the death flavors come in). we're not gonna solve the game by this discussion, but i'm sure some people will start to make conclusions later on and that's where things pick up. we can spend all day talking about villagers and no lies need to be made, but investigations can be forced. anyway point it is that i find it a better topic to materialize off

i am very anti RQS from my time in MU and recent games. its too late to do one now anyway

REQs
1) Favorite game played?
2) Favorite Alignment to play as?
3) Why did you choose your villager?
4) Who can you read the best?
5) Finally, any current opinions you wish to share?

btw i do need to say this: tomorrow i intern from 3-7 and thursday I have lab from 3-5, so i will be very distracted during EoD if not completely gone during those times. 4pm is a rough EoD time for a student smh european time zones

giving something for people to respond to just for the sake of them to post something doesn’t do much good. the only somewhat good question there is on who you read best, but even that and all other questions are just fluff

if you have an opinion to make, do it anyways. a RQS should not need to prompt that

RQSs are like those awkward ice breakers at orientation that no one really bonds over and tries to quickly forget about

^^ I always try to start D1 with a joke or some less serious conversation, there is little to contribute when there hasn't been any deaths, especially for this style of game. Voting ealry D1 is always a shot in the dark and I don't know if its worth just voting someone on a hunch esp if they haven't posted yet. I'd like to hear from everybody before I make a decision yet. Imo D1 is the worst day for gathering info and I feel bad for whoever gets chopped without getting to contribute much to the game
(that was me a few games ago :<)
