Island Name Help

I am still looking for an island name for my NH island. I want something with a tropical feel to it, but not something like sand (island) or Ocean (island). If you have any suggestions on how to come up with a good name or some ideas, please let me know!

I use portmanteaus (blending words together) and think of an object or two that captures the feeling of the place. I'm planning on naming my island Bahdako, which I got by playing around with "bay," "dark," and "cove," and thinking of dark secluded bays and bee swarms zipping across late afternoon twilight skies, both which have helped me tweak the name into something I think is more exotic-, ominous-, and thorny-sounding.
