Was anyone else really upset by that video? I've been watching things on her channel for a long time (I think I've watched all of them) and I saw that video go up yesterday right when it happened. She's such a wonderful loving person, I just can't even imagine what it's like for her to go through life like that. I just wish I could give her a hug, or words of encouragement (in a more personal way than just my youtube comment) or something, you know? On the bright side, I was happy to see that she's working through it and that she finally mustered the courage to show her face on camera (even if just for a second). I'm praying that she gets through this.

On a side note, I think she's beautiful. I see this problem with so many people that they just can't see their own appearance as what it truly is. The fact she's struggled with thinking she's not good enough for other people kind of reminds me of myself at times.

I wouldn't call her beautiful. She's not ugly. She's cute. There's beautiful on the inside, and beautiful on the inside. Outer beauty is the first thing we see, and judgements made on that are not our fault. What is our fault is not getting past our initial thoughts, and getting to know someone. There's nothing wrong with being honest about your own feelings on atshetics, but there is something wrong with pouncing on our prejudices.

This girl needs serious therapy for social anxiety, and potential body dysmorphia. She's got a lot of issues. And, I get that society can exacerbate these issues, but they are he town issues with herself. It's not anyone's fault she feels this way. A professional can help her get past these thoughts in order to live a normal life.

What I will judge is the four fingers on the hand drawing.

I agree that having an initial opinion of someone based on their looks is not wrong: it's human nature. I cannot stress enough what you said about getting past our initial impressions of someone's looks. We shouldn't pass judgement on someone we wouldn't even talk to because of how they looked. I guess the word "cute" does describe her better, but I do mean what I said.

I agree. I really hope she sees help.

It made me really sad but i'm thankful she is so open about her experience as I bet it will be able to help her and maybe even someone else.

I couldn't care less about how somebody looks, frankly. She's a talented person and I didn't need to see her face to know that. I'm really, really happy for her.
