I just finished up episode 3. This show is absolutely... bizarre... The way it makes you hate a character so much, but you still have hope that he can be a better person. Then by the end, you just want to see Jojo succeed. His entire teenage-adult life was spent trying to get Dio to love him. Jojo still had hope in Dio, but we didn't.

I watched the first episode just a few days ago. As a Briton, their accents had my sides splitting.

I'll get down to watching the rest soon.

assuming you're watching part 1, it's actually the tamest of all the parts. parts 3 and 4 is absolutely insane compared to parts 1 and 2, even though they do have their shining moments! i'm happy you're having fun watching it though, it's a total blast!

oh boy you are in for a wild ride! if you think 1 is wild just wait until you get all the way to part 4...
have you read the manga? i absolutely adore it (admittedly i only watched the anime from season 1-3 and just read the manga from then on, until the anime for part 4 was released) but reading jojo in arakis original art style is stunning. i adore part 8s artwork!!!

One of JJBA's more interesting qualities is that it can take really weird situations and downplay them into something somewhat serious.

For example, Battle Tendency has a reincarnated nazi cyborg gun down a mostly nude aztec vampire god (who has mini chainsaws built into his arms) using the minigun built into his chest, all while striking a glorious pose.
