I watched it last year back in summer and I was inlove. Apollo, oh my. One of my favourite movies if I'm honest about it. Can't help but be honest about something I thoroughly enjoyed.
I watched it a few years ago. It wasn’t too bad of a movie, but I’m not really a movie person in general. The movie was very nostalgic to me. It gave a whole new perspective to the game of Animal Crossing. I liked how each villager had their own personality. When you meet those same villagers in the actual game, you understand their personality a bit more. There is a lot more to understand when watching a movie rather than just reading dialogue from a video game. I do appreciate the movie, but I just can’t get into movies unless the concept really appeals to me, as they aren’t really my thing.
i’ve seen it a few times and i love it! there’s actually a fandub and it’s SUPER well made and sounds so professional, i actually thought it was real LOL
I watched the movie back in the day (probably 2007 it was before ACCF was announced) and it's definitely very good. For a long time a good chunk of AC merch has connected to the movie. Back then a lot of fans wanted ACCF to have the atmosphere of ACGC/the movie. I think the movie does portray how it feels to play the older games.
They reaired it on Japanese TV last year and one of my friends burnt a DVD for me so I might watch it again sometime.
I watched the movie but couldn't get into it very well... not because it was bad (which it isn't), but because at that time I had only played NL and was befuddled by some things. I played the other games in reverse after it, so... I should watch it again, I guess. Pretty sure I'll be able to enjoy it a lot more now that I have background on the whole franchise
