Omg she looks amazing!!! Ugh I want one of these so badly >_<

Thank you! :D I was scared she was gonna come out weird, but she doesn't look too bad ^^
I still have 2 more to do for her, so no rush on getting one at all xD

Soooo...Kain's Krafts iiiis *now* open or iiiis *not* open ?

Just wanted to clarify, thats all:p I can be slow sometimes :cool:

Also.....:bump: :D

OMG
It is open ; ^;
I fixed it. Holy, I am so dumb...
That's what happens when I try to do things early in the morning xD

Thank you so much for pointing that out..

I think you should charge more for your sculptures :eek: if they take 10-20h to make, you're barely making a $1/h for all your effort.

this girl on tumblr has made merengue/molly/punchy/bruce and she sold them for $100 each and I think you have lots of talent - don't sell yourself short!

Her stuff is sooooo much better than what I do though!! DAMN. That's definitely my goal now though... but that's seriously insane ; ^;
She also looks like she uses bisque-fire clay though as well, which is more expensive to buy than polymer clay.

Thank you so much though, I really appreciate your compliment ^^
I feel like if I higher it though, I won't get as many sales :c and I'm not a tumblr person, nor do I have much publicity, so that makes it even harder for me as well.

I actually thought your stuff is pretty comparable x) and naw, she uses wire armature, sculpey and apoxie sculpt (air dry clay), not bisque-fire clay. Maybe try integrating wire armature in your sculptures? It'll help with proportions :eek: she has process work up which i think is fascinating.

Nothing's stopping you from getting a tumblr~ you could post your own process work and stuff on it. I follow her blog (and this other cool sculpting blog) and it's some seriously cool stuff haha.

Omg, nooooo they're stuff is WAY more advanced than mine ; ^; I feel so amateur no, lol.

Oh wow, really? The color and texture looks like bisque so much o .o
I'm actually so bad at wire stuff like that xD it's the equivalent to sketching for me (which I also can't do, lol) I just make them from scratch, then in places like the head, stand-legs and sometimes arms and tails, I run wires through them to keep from collapsing or bending back.
I post processes too, but it's usually. Head, to body, to finished unbaked version. Then after baked, and then while painting them to fully painted to clear coated ^^

Would it help a lot? I get so stressed when I have to keep track of several sites. (why I kinda quit FB a few months back...)
I guess it would be a good way to keep a log of my WIPs though.. yeah?

She also sands her sculptures, so that's why they look so smooth (if that's what you mean by texture?)

If you use wire already, maybe it'll be easier to integrate it at the beginning of the process? she has a guide for wire armature (and other things) on her ask-blog. wire seems like just the basic stick figure shapes so it's not terribly complicated.

Tumblr is pretty easy to use and it might help you get a larger audience? plus i'm sure people from tbt will follow you~
I'm not sure how popular sculpting is on tumblr but maybe pinterest (never used that before tho xD).
