I KNOW I SAID I WOULD START ON PENGUTANGO BUT I ENDED UP WORKING ON ANOTHER ARTTRADE .____________.
I'm so excited to use the new brush on this!XD There are still so many things I have figure out, like, should I draw over the lineart layer? Or keep it under? Should I add more shines? It's kind of dark as it is, though ardrey's usual chibis don't have that much shine either... idk do you guys think the shading is okay like this? Should I make it more messy like a real painted style or keep it neat??
And should I paint the clothing and skin with in this style too??

Your lining is so detailed, it would be a shame to keep it hidden! Maybe blend the lines to be less obvious? I just LOVE the way you are coloring her hair! The dimensions of color make it look awesome!

the thing is my lines are very messy on there and I'm too lazy to lineart all stuff now, lol.

I finished this WIP for practice with paint-water. I figured that the brush works better on big canvases, so I'll be using bigger canvases from now on ^^ I did this one under the lineart, mhh I guess it came out pretty well? c:

ahh thanks a lot!! You guys support me so much!! I'm trying my best!!

I've been thinking of doing semi realistic painted stuff. I've seen those things on dA a lot and I've always been interested in them, and I think I can do it with the help of paint-water. This is my attempt so far:

If it goes well, I'd add that style to my future shop, though it would probably be rather expensive...because of the amount of effort and difficulty ; o ;

i personally think that you should color over the lineart, because that produces the 'painted' effect that your going for.
