I'M SORRY but I even caught a cold over the weekend ;-; I might do yours before the next art trade because it really would be a shame if you couldn't receive it. I saw that the dA artist's account with our art trade was deactivated...out of nowhere! I already got their half of the trade, I don't know what to do now... I don't know of any way to contact them, I hate it when things like this happen ;___;

is the hair coloring bad or good? I really can't tell. Does it look weird? Is my usual style better?

oh my god it looks so perfect!! i love the colors and the coloring because i think it adds to the OC's candy theme! i love how, when you draw, the pieces are so detailed and pretty, i can't wait to see the rest!

I'm really not sure about the hair shading tho. Pengutango didn't seem to like it, and now that I come to think of it, it doesn't look very nice I guess... like idk it just looks sparkly and that's all. It's no good this way.
I will probably re-shade it tomorrow... *sigh
I might give this another try, or I'll do the shading like usual. I'll sleep over it...

I think the hair looks really pretty by itself! If there were anything I would say to critique it, it'd be that the shading of the clothing doesn't match the actual body/hair of the character? I'm not sure if this was a finished piece, but maybe if all the clothes were shiny as well it'd look more together?

Not sure if you've already recolored or not at this point but maybe what Pengu meant was that there's kind of a lack of dimension? For example, I can see the shadows in the skin but not really in the hair :3 However the coloring is still super pretty, love zooming in to look at all the glittery bits :'D

well it's a WIP, I only colored the hair, skin and eyes so far. I'll shade the clothing and remaining parts after I'm done with the hair

PAPER BAG TIME.

I slept over it and I'm pretty sure now that I won't keep it. I wanted to have 2 shading styles available, one is painted and one is soft-shade, I already know how to make it painted but not how to properly soft shade it. I wanted the soft-shade to be somewhat similar to Yamio's, I think I nailed skin and eyes but the hair wwjefnjgfndgkdfjfvn
I'm gonna figure something out, I guess... thank you all for the nice comments!! Since you guys seemed to like it a lot, I want to develop a hair shading that is somewhat similar but different... (what?) idk how tho
