Large Turnip Price Spike Two Weeks In A Row? Is It Possible? O.o

So, pretty new to the whole stalk market kinda thing, never bothered on the other games, but I'm liking getting rich, and hoping this is the right place to pop something like this.

So this week, I've been inputting my turnip prices in TurnipProphet, and was told I'd have a large spike this afternoon, which I did, 434, to be precise, I didn't bother last week with turnips, so in the 'What was last week's turnip price pattern?', I put 'Don't know'.

Now, I've been doing a little experimenting, with similar figures from this week but putting it as for next week, so, 'last week' (this week's) turnip price pattern was a large spike, and it's saying I'm set for a large turnip spike next week too. My turnip prices at the beginning of the week tend to be about the same, so somewhere between 70-90 per turnip, so it's a good guess next week's will be similar.

Now I know it's random, but most of my turnip prices so far seem to have followed the decreasing pattern, so, is it actually possible to have a large spike pattern 2 weeks in a row, or is it just going to be down to chance?

If you have any other cool turnip facts, or tips for a bit of a noob, let me know ​

According to the datamine, there's a 5% chance to have a large spike 2 weeks in a row. Possible, but highly unlikely.

You won't be able to tell what next week's pattern is until you see what the Monday AM price is at the minimum. Putting in this week's prices for next week can't tell you anything. So while you might have a large spike next week, it most likely won't happen. You are most likely going to get the fluctuating/random pattern next week if you have a large spike this week.

It is possible. I'd never had a large spike then suddenly the other week I had two weeks of large spikes. My friend had two weeks of large spikes too.
