last film you watched!

Watched Starlet last night. I'm obsessed with what's going on with some independent films these days. Strong performances, a more-than-good script and realistic acting is what I love to see in film. I wish more directors would ditch the need to create clich?d, melodramatic pieces that always seem fall flat.

Full Metal Jacket, at the moment.

After having a friendly chat with Matthew Modine on Twitter, I decided to take a look at this movie once again.

Rebel Without a Cause

Very good movie. James Dean would've been one of the best actors if he were still alive when this movie came out...

Last film I watched was Carrie (1976). I really don't get why people are so defensive over that movie. They keep saying that the 2013 Carrie is going to ruin "the original" and I'm just here like excuse me?? That movie isn't original, it's based on a book and it butchered quite a few things. Some are understandable, like this one thing that happened towards the end that was out of their budget and therefore couldn't be done. But then there were things like naming the high school "Bates" instead of "Ewen". What was even the point of that? Sorry for the long rant but... people, please. The film wasn't bad by any means but some people just worship it for no good reason.

I liked Sissy Spacek's performance in that movie...

Yeah, I really do think she did a wonderful job. I'm mostly just annoyed at everyone who protects it like it's the best film since sliced bread. "Chloe Grace Moretz is too pretty to be Carrie." I mean, really? If we're going by looks here then you could easily say Sissy wasn't the best for the part because she wasn't overweight and covered in pimples. If people just overlooked the whole appearance thing and focused on the actresses and their abilities to bring the character to life, it'd be all good. Sissy's acting was great and that's all that matters, so the same thing should apply to Chloe.

The World's End. I liked it--if you like Dr. Who, or Hitch-Hiker's guide OR Shaun of the Dead, you'll probably like it too.

I saw Girl, Interrupted and rewatched Pulp Fiction for the umpteenth time today. Both really wonderful movies. Hell, Pulp Fiction is my favorite right next to Harold and Maude.

I watched the newest Star Trek movie last night. Didn't think it was that great. Zachary Quinto is pretty great at Spock, but apart from that....
I'm thinking I might re-watch Shutter today. Or maybe Insidious before the new one is released here on Thursday. Idk, something to creep me out. No better feeling

Pulp Fiction, at the moment, is my #1 favourite movie of all time. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I just watched the second Card Captor Sakura movie and loved every second of it.
Specially after being kinda disappointed of the first one. This one deserves a perfect score ^^.

Dances With Wolves

Come on! This won the Best Picture Oscar over GoodFellas?! It's still a good movie, but GoodFellas really needed it!

The Last Picture Show

Very, very, very, very, very, very, VERY good movie! I'd highly recommend this one.

The last film i watched was Paprika ! It's a super amazing animated film, would recommend to anyone ! But if you find inception confusing, this wouldn't be the movie for you ! So many dream layers...

Three Colors: White, or, in the language it came from (Polish), Trzy Kolory: Bialy

Excellent film, just like the other two parts of the trilogy, though weaker than Blue and Red. In fact, I just love the theme to this movie.
