Did anyone else ever play Ribbit King?

It's been years since I've played it on Gamecube, but I remember enjoying it at the time.

OMG, I loved that game to death!

"May Bird" comes to mind. It was a series of novels aimed at older kids and young teens I think, and it was about a girl and her ugly cat and they find this portal to the afterlife and have to go on a wild adventure to find their way out if it. It was really fun but also surprisingly sad at times.
