Part of the reason I barely game anymore is because of paid DLC. If the sold a complete product and then really did offer something new which couldn't have been offered when the game was released that would be different, but selling cheats or releasing unfinished games and then charging for "add-ons" which should have been included in a finished product or released as free patches is just a money grab which I will never take part in.

No two islands would be too much work…I’d rather have the ability to modify everything in the game meaning move the RS, recolor the airport etc.

At this time I wouldn’t buy it. I just feel like I still have so many this with my current island, that it wouldn’t make sense for me to pickup another. If In the future my island felt more complete, perhaps. I don’t see myself wanting another island or another theme, and I’m very much content with the one island I have. If the DLC included more items or other features I might cave and buy it. However for just the benefit of adding another island I don’t see myself paying for the DLC, or even buying a new switch for it now.

Probably! Though, considering how much time and effort I've spent crafting my original island, there's a chance that I may just become burnt out and slightly overwhelmed by the idea all over again. On the other hand, it beats having to buy an entirely new console.

I feel like I might buy it for the sake of buying it if that makes sense? IDK if I would actually be able to run two islands but maybe one can be my ~aesthetic~ island and the other could be my storage island.

I would begrudgingly buy it. It’d be pretty lame for them to basically sell more save slots (I know some other game got in heat over that before) but I would LOVE having another save in this game so at least I could experience building up an island again. I don’t know exactly what I would do with the second island. Probably reset for beach/resident service layouts I like more? Maybe not, maybe I’d keep resetting over that island.

I don't think I could handle another island lol. I remember a lot of people on here would have multiple copies of New Leaf (like, I remember some members who had 4-6) so I got another copy and wasn't cut out for it. I found it overwhelming to do my daily gameplay in one town while setting up another, and then once I got everything unlocked in the second town I still favored my first.

I do sometimes want to play more Animal Crossing after I finish playing NH for the day, but I think for me I'd enjoy just playing a different AC game simultaneously. There are things about the old games I love more/miss/think was better before, so playing an older game would give me more of what I want rather than a second island.

I would buy another island in a heartbeat...well...as long as they added more content. Like the rest of the fruits from New Leaf! If not the fruits then maybe more feature areas. A mine to mine gems, silver and gold for more customisations would be nice.

i'd buy it !! it'd be nice to have more villagers without having to sacrifice the ones i have now, & if i get into themed islands in the future, i'd love to have a way to try out different themes at the same time :0

although it would be really nice for that dlc to include more than one island, since i don't think most people would be satisfied w just one, especially if it was a bit more on the expensive side (￣▽￣)

No I wouldn’t. I already have two islands and I use the second one to just enjoy the simple appearance of a starter island while I use my main to fully decorate. I hope to finally be satisfied with my main and never have to decorate again, I’m not really much of a decorator. xD I like having pretty things not making them

I would definitely buy another save file if the price was reasonable ($20 or less, not paying for the full game again.) Whether I'd really use it, I don't know.... I'm not even finished with my first island, but being able to explore a whole different theme would be fun. If we could keep out catalogue/diys, even better.

I'd actually prefer they did another big furniture DLC, though. And add more default paths, patterns, hair styles, and colors.

i’d buy it if it wasn’t expensive!! there are a lot of villagers that i want but i’m super attached to 9/10 of the ones that are on my island right now so i can’t replace them lol,, i probably wouldn’t terraform or decorate a second island though because it’s a lot of work :> plus i kind of miss how natural and minimalistic my island looked like when it wasn’t all terraformed and decorated too

I'd buy almost anything more for this game except for maybe cosmetics and villagers.

I think Nintendo underestimated big time how popular the game would be so they never gave it much thought other than to have the title exist for Switch.
