So, I mainly started this thread to ask for help on designing my Geckos tank.
Feel free to talk about your pets, or maybe the ones you want to have. (i want a fox some day)

Anyways, I have 2 leopard gecko tanks, with total of 3 geckos. I want to change up my 40 gallon (breeder) tank and make it Animal Crossing themed.
So, I wanted to know what other people think about this and here their ideas. I could go with something basic like a couple houses with a (fake) river and a bridge, but I'd like something a little more adventurous.

A few things to keep in mind:
-2 hiding spots are needed
-they always have to have a corner free to poop in, I'm usually able to have it hidden under leaves
-they need a little bit of space for food and water dishes (about the size of a small candle holder)

That's about it though. I'd really appreciate the help with this!!
I really look forward to hearing your ideas!!

Hello Irish9474, I have no experience with geckos, but we will obtain a kitty this month :) I have already received videos and pictures of the kitty playing with his sister, and the mother cat who also shows hilarious behavior!

This is just an idea, but you could add Animal Crossing themed trees to the breeder tank, maybe with fake fruit or money bags :)

I have a 19 years and 8 months old cat. She's a Domestic Shorthair with gray fur. She's really crabby, but she'll act nice to get what she wants. I love her a lot, but she stopped eating recently so we're going to have to put her down tomorrow.

My dream pet is a calico cat with long fur.

I have a ginger and white cat called Button, he's 8 years old and my best friend in the entire world. I got him after I lost my first cat Jasper at only 2 years old, I had gotten him for literally nothing. Unfortunately, the people we got him from didn't treat him very well so he's anxiety ridden and incredibly scared of everyone, but I'm happy I'm giving him the best life he could possibly have.
We have a family dog, he's a 3 year old Border Collie called Dave, he's very different to our last Collie needless to say lol. He can be very naughty, his sheepdog instinct is through the roof and he likes to try and round everything up, but he can be the sweetest and friendliest dog.
We have 2 ponies, a Newfoundland pony, Willow, who's 19 years old and a Welsh Section C, Wolfie, who's 9 years old. Both belong to my sister, I used to ride Willow but she's had a lot of issues with laminitis so it's painful for her to walk, let alone carry someone.
Aaaand we have two fish, a white goldfish and a loach! I think the goldfish is around 11-13 years old? We used to have 3 others but they passed due to old age.

In my old school they have (or had, not sure it's still there, as that was almost 8 years ago!) a gecko
and I took care of it over the summerholidays. Super cute but sadly I don't have much experience on
how to take care of one.

Anyways, I have currently 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 1 rabbit.
My cats have their own room upstairs and they love it!
It has lot's of scratchingboards, hidingspots, cattrees, ... everything a catheart could want. :)

My very first cat is called Poppy, I got her to be less lonely when my boyfriend is away for work.
But as I learned, you need 2 cats when they are indoor cats so I adopted Ekko, a overweight cat
that no one wanted, because he was 1) overweight and 2) black.. and black cats are "bad luck", pff..
he's a super cute and friendly cat. He teached himself two tricks to get treats. He can sit on command
and will bump my hand on command aswell. Poppy is a sweet cat that can also sit on command, but
she was most of her kittenlife without another cat, so she never got 100% used to be with other ones
and we notice it, as she doesn't like the other ones to be near her (she will slap them, haha).
And my newest cat is Luna. I got her from the shelter that I help out at. She is insanely cute, like she
doesn't want to leave me.. ever. Sadly she has a virus in her, that always makes her sick.
She might get her teeth completely removed soon in hope that it will make her stay healthy..
the chance of success is 70%, so there is hope!

For my rabbit.. he used to have a friend called Mido, but he sadly died suddenly. :'(
Link, my current rabbit got used to living alone, as he was the rabbit of the little sister
of my boyfriend. She kept forgetting to feed him, kept him in a hamstercage and always
put a cover over his cage, so he barely got sunlight.. she was super young when she got him
as a birthdaypresent, so I don't blame her too hard. Anyways, luckily she got allergic to him
and I was allowed to take him over. Now he has a +15m? room to run around! :D

He is living with my two guinea pigs, Bijou & Trixi. They loooove to scream extremelly loud
for food. It's pretty much impossible to forget giving them food, because they will scream
so loud, that you will be able to hear it through headphones with music on. :b

I absolutely love the tree idea! I didnt even think about that! Thanks so much! I'm going to post photos whenever I finish it!

Best of luck to you and your kitty! I'm sure you 2 with have lots of fun! One thing I learned with my current kitten is play time is sooooo needed if you ever want to sleep at night. My little girl thinks playing for hours isnt enough to wear her out for bed time! Haha

I have a 5 month old grey tabby named Millie. She got her name from the little "M" on their forehead with friends saying she's apart if the majin buu crew. She's very sweet, and friendly coming up to anyone who visits. As far as her little quirks go I live in a rather small apartment with not many spots for her to get content. However, she has taken a liking to the top of the fridge where she since has been given the nickname "cool" cat. Here's one of my more favorite pictures of her playing animal crossing.

I think it's so cute that you want to design your gecko tanks to look like Animal Crossing. Maybe you could put a little fence around the corner where they do their business and a sign saying "Dump" like the old GameCube game?

I have a dog myself. He's a rescue pomeranian/chihuahua mix and he came with a lot of problems, but I love him anyway. He's a cutie when he wants to be. LOL

Currently, I don't have any pets. The last one so far was a betta fish had who died last March after I had him for about a year and a half. I used to have several golden mystery snails and various types of fish. I had two hamsters that have been gone long ago. I'd say my most memorable pet was a rabbit, she was almost the center of the household and was with the family through so much. We had her for almost two years before she ran away.

I have a cat. I don't know her breed, but she's orange. I used to have two cats, but... I just lost the other one a few hours ago. She was black and we had her for 17 years. I'm going to miss her.

I currently have two dogs and two lake fish. (don't ask why, I'll give a explanation xD) I have a male miniature dachshund, that's going on 7 this coming January. He's quite aggressive when around being near food. Then I have a male pitbull, in which is going on 5 in this December. He's usually afraid, but also aggressive at new folks. Then, here's the story on how I have two lake fish in my giant fish tank. You see, my dad's side of the family is mostly that country/ red-neck type of people, and so my dad decided to go fishing, and bring him a baby bass, and a little blue catfish. We would usually feed them worms that my dad has in his shed that we keep as bait when he goes fishing.

I like the dump idea! I've been wanted to do something with it, other than hide it.

I'm so sorry for your loss! It's always hard losing a loved pet. I had my dog since I was about 3 or 4 yrs old, we had to put her down in my junior year of high school. It broke me into pieces. Best of luck to you and your family, give your other cat lots of affection too. They need it just as much!!!!

Not really sure how gecko tanks work but how about putting a big town tree (plaza tree) in the middle of the enclosure? You can make your own little bricks around the tree as well! There's a few videos online about how to make miniature bricks. That'd be super cute! Maybe for the "water bowl" you can make something similar to the "Hot Springs" PWP. Maybe you can find something premade or try and mimic those grey rocks to hold the water somehow? (Like this but make it the rock pool look more like the hotsprings PWP!) I know (at least for aquariums) that there are a lot of japanese/zen themed ornaments that could be representative of Zen Pwps that you could possibly use. If you're feeling fancy and want to have little water areas you can try making a zen bridge connecting them! Basically, I think adding other elements that may resemble PWP's as ornaments would best represent animal crossing overall! For premade ornaments, I think the japanese style is the easiest to buy so I suggest going with a "zen" theme :3 I'd love to see your results!!

I have a beagle named Louie! She's 4.5ish now? She's the sweetest girl ever!

What FANTASTIC ideas!! Thanks so much!! I love the hot spring idea for the water dish (currently, they're using a candle holder cup haha, works great thou!). I've been thinking about adding some type of water feature (like a waterfall) and I think the hot spring might be the one!
I dont know how soon I'll have it finished, since getting supplies is a little hard atm, i just got a new job and have many Bill's to pay before I can get started on the tank.
But, I will definitely have photos when its finished!

Honestly I am very awful with pets ,,, or keeping them alive that is ;___;. Right now I do have a baby pet turtle named Michelangelo, after the ninja turtles TV show of course. He’s a very aggressive tiny baby. He loves to hide and he doesn’t eat much ;<

We had four cats, but recently my dad's "baby", Callio, lost his fight with feline cancer. I miss him a lot, my dad the most :(

Shy-Shy is the eldest at 17-18, but he acts like he's still 5 to 8. He's an orange shorthair with unusually human-like eyes; his face is very expressive! He's also really skinny, but he holds himself like he weighs a lot more--his paws feel like weights when he steps on you. He's really mouthy and loud, but he's a sweetheart, and refuses to understand the meaning of "stranger", quite unlike his name (as a kitten, he was a scaredy cat) He's also a piggy when it comes to food.

Shadow is a solid black shorthair, and the only girl--but clearly holds rank over Shy-Shy and Derp. She's about 15 or 16 (as was Callio, they were litter-mates. Shy-Shy is their older brother from the previous litter). She likes sitting in laps because of the warmth, and desperately wants to go outside all the time (but the last time we let her, she disappeared and went feral for about half a year). She loves attention, but only if SHE wants it at the time. Unfortunately, she also walks with her claws out all the time. She hates Derp with a burning passion, and we still don't know why. But sometimes, if she's particularly cold, we find her curled up near him if he's asleep. She's vicious when it comes to treats.

Derp is the baby, a ragdoll at around 5 or 6. His fur's so long, he can't clean it all himself--though that isn't helped by how fat he is. His butt's about three times the size of his head. He used to be wild, but after we got him fixed, he plumped up like a balloon--and he hardly ever eats (hormones, man...). He used to be named Tuffy from his long coat, but after we had him for a while...well, let's just say he's not a very bright cat. He also gets mad if we use his old name. After hearing us say it so many times, I guess he decided his name was Derp. It stuck. He loves belly rubs, has no idea what to do with human food (or his own, most of the time) , and loves playing with strings. He'll purr just from someone looking at him long enough. He has no idea why Shadow hates him so much, but he also thinks startling her is funny, so...

Callio was the skinniest, but loved food like a gourmet, and was very, very loud. He was also an orange shorthair (unfortunately, he got the orange's genetic disposition for cancer, poor baby). He loved scooting across the carpet when it was freshly vacuumed, and his favorite place to sit and sleep was right on my dad's shoulder, even when he'd just come home from work. Hearing him purr was rare, but when he did, it was adorable.
