Today started off pretty normal. Freya wanted me to deliver something to Snake, and Gaston wanted an apple, but those two tasks were the only ones the villagers had for me. So I moved onto my dailies and dug up fossils, moved some hybrids, etc. The sky was gray, so I decided to wait a while before watering my flowers, just in case.
Isabelle had reminded me that the museum now had a second floor! It also made me think of Shrunk. His club will be done any day now, and I hope it's before Saturday so I can see K.K. Slider!
I checked out the second floor of the museum. Celeste explained about the exhibits, and I bought the silver fishing rod on display. I gave her 10,000 Bells to open up one of the exhibit rooms, and I put some of my items in there to clear up my storage space. I went back home afterwards to have another piece of my rococo set customized by Cyrus, and so I could sell some items. Although I sold my turnips yesterday, I checked the prices today, and they were up to 479 Bells! I was hoping yesterday was just an early maximum, but I suppose it wasn't. Oh well, it's better to be safe than sorry.
While I waited for Cyrus to finish up, I checked the shops on Main Street. Kicks was still under construction; other than that, not much was happening. I went back to town and the sky had cleared to a grayish-blue color; it probably wasn't gonna rain, and I still had time for Cyrus to finish, so I watered all of my flowers. I've been putting pink hybrids around Freya's house and they're coming along great so far! I just need a few more, and then her house will be completely bordered. I'll make sure to snap a picture of my progress next time!
I figured that Cyrus was done, so I went back to my house for the next item to drop off while I picked up the previous one. I then saved for a while.
I got back online around 7 to do some beetle hunting. I picked up my customized furniture, dropped off the last one, and headed to the island. Thankfully, it wasn't hard to find enough sharks and beetles to fill my box, so I went on some tours to earn enough medals for the new mermaid vanity. I've been saving my Bells, so I had more than enough to pay off my next mortgage!

The next fee is even larger- 598,000. That'll take a bit of beetle hunting, but I'm up for the challenge! I'll do what it takes to get my third room added.
To finish off the day, I picked up my item from Cyrus. I only have about 3 or 4 more items to customize, so I'll try to get those done tomorrow or the next day. I'll be sure to upload a picture of the completed room when it's done!
That's it for today! I forgot about celebrating my museum today, so I'll get that done sometime in the afternoon. See you guys tomorrow!
