Hi everyone, and sorry for not posting anything yesterday! I was busy and didn't have time, so I'll be posting yesterday and today's blogs early. Hope you enjoy!
Day 48
A lot happened today having to do with villager requests! First of all, Nate wanted me to set a time to meet up at his place. I picked 11:30 so I would have plenty of time to get everything done before coming over.
I was strolling throughout town, on the hunt for the next villager, when my eye caught something strange. It was Phineas! It's been a while since I've seen him, and I've been slacking a bit on fishing and bug hunting for my badges, so I was wondering what he had to say. He gave me a new badge- the Letter Writer!

He didn't have any more to give me, so I carried on my way to find Snake. He wanted me to get Willow for him. I went back the way I came, got Willow, and brought her to Snake. They had a weird conversation about escorting and Snake being a gentleman or something like that. Villager rivalry, I suppose! At least Snake was happy to see me.

He gave me a shirt for helping him out, which I could easily sell at Re-Tail. It's the thought that counts though!
Chops had a request as well. He wanted me to dig up his time capsule from way back when. I don't recall burying one recently, but it obviously was done if he was asking me about it.

He had a vegetarian tee inside, and of course, he thanked me by letting me keep it.
Freya didn't need anything, so I moved on to Gaston. He had a delivery for Nate that had gotten sent to him by mistake, so I took care of it. (I didn't see him later throughout the day, so maybe he did go camping in Storrs?) I was on my way back when Tammy pinged me. She had a painting she wanted me to buy, and since I didn't have it in my museum, I took the risk and kept in mind to check in with Blathers. It later turned out to be fake. Oh well. Hopefully I'll find it at Crazy Redd's soon.
I had about 30 minutes to kill before I had to be at Nate's, so I quickly did everything on Main Street (if you read my blogs, you know what that is by now!) and celebrated my fountain. Hooray for sunny days! I still have to landscape around the fountain, so it doesn't look the best right now. It will in time though. c:

I went to Nate's house, sent him a letter, and checked the beaches for Gulliver to wrap up the day. He was washed up near the dock. It took forever to wake him, but I finally did. He described a place where the locals said "Aloha" and danced in hula skirts. I knew right away that it was Hawaii, and he promised to send a gift.
Day 39
Only a handful of villagers had requests for me today. Willow wanted me to come over and check out her place right away. I stayed for a while and told her that her house looked great. She thought I was just flattering her, but she thanked me anyway.

Later, Tammy wanted me to give something to Willow, so I agreed and took her the gift. It was a mango, but Willow said she had just bought another. She asked me if I wanted to buy it from her. It was a little pricey for a mango, but I still needed fruit for Shrunk, so I did the good deed and took the mango off her hands.
Marina wanted to come over to my house too. She was really sweet with the compliments, and I have to say, she looks pretty great in the main room!

Another painting incident happened today too, but this time with Gaston. He said he didn't know if it was real or fake, but I purchased it anyway. Turns out it was real! At least I have one villager I can trust...and I don't think it's Tammy. :<
I got my dailies done and meant to start my police station, but I'm still a little unsure of where I want to place it. I really want to put it where Kitt's house is, but I'll have to wait until she wants to move out. Hmm. I'd rather wait and have a good spot than choose on a whim now, so I guess I'll hold on for just a little longer.
I was heading back to my house when Gaston pinged me. He wanted to play hide and seek. I had nothing to do, so we rounded up a few villagers to play. I found them all in no time. He gave me a maze floor (what a coincidence!) and thanked me for playing (Nate photobombed there).

Aaannd that should end the main events from the past two days! Sorry about the long-ish post. I'll probably have a shorter one tomorrow, so don't worry. See you then, fellow users!
