I downloaded ibisPaint X and drew my AC character for the first time. 🌸😁

There were a lot of things I could have done better, but I don’t think it’s too bad for the first time drawing digitally. I’m open to constructive criticism I want to hear you destroy me as I am only a beginner.

Edit 1/24/20: I started getting back into art! I’ll seldomly post every now and then c:

oh this is so cute!! i’m not sure about pricing as i don’t draw nor do i order from art shops very often but i’d definitely be interested in commissioning you should you ever decide to open up shop! ^_^

Thank you! It means a lot to me! I still need practice drawing and getting used to the mechanics, but I probably will open a shop up! 😄

This looks super cute! I'm not an artist myself so idk much about pricing either but I could see maybe 200+ tbt for something like this?
Its really good!

With more practice, I’m sure I could totally live up to 200+ tbt. I should use different shapes and shading methods. 🤔

since i spend 60% of my time in the museum forum i could kinda (?) interpret prices - i could see this going for 150+ which is p good since you’re just a beginner .0. with more practice your art could totally be worth 200+

Thank you! I’m hoping on working on another piece today for extra practice! 😊

That looks great though just one thing... I think her forehead is a bit dark? Otherwise it's still a good piece.
Lol, I went a bit overboard on the shading... To be honest, I don’t like my method of shading, but now that you point it out, I can see it. Thank you for the feedback!

I'm still a beginner as well so problem! I just smudge a darkened version of the base color for mine and idk if that's right lol.

I’ll try that next time! I think it’s good to experiment on different types of shadings. 😁

Are, are you sure this is your FIRST time doing digital? Cause this is super cute! Now I'm super curious to see your traditional drawings if you have any.

I would def say your art is worth somewhere in the 150-200 tbt range.

Well, it’s my first time using the program. I doodled on Notes here and there, but I have never made a full blown art. I don’t have too many traditional drawings, but I do have an older one of Molly. 😁

Cute art, and super good for your first attempt at digital art! 'w')b

Hopefully I'm not overstepping too much, but a bit of advice for shading that I quickly scribbled together (because when I first did digital art, I did the same thing until someone told me similar things):

I tried to keep it simple to things you're probably familiar with already -- you'll learn more as you experiment more 'w')b (e.g. painting, finding other brushes you like more, etc.)

For the colour-picking part, you can actually choose from a bunch of different colours, it just depends what you like best and what you're comfortable with!
