I lost my Animal Crossing save file while transferring my account from my old switch to my new one. A shame, but as if it was meant to be I found the exact same map, with cherries and a blue airport, only after resetting for the 2nd time!
I’m quite enjoying building up my town again while learning from my mistakes the first time around, hah.
I do however have a problem: NookLink on my phone is still linked to my old save file. Which is gone. I can’t chat in my new file, nor scan QR codes or use the app at all. I do want to be able to use these functions in my game. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I’ve already contacted Nintendo, but since it’s weekend I suppose I have to wait a while for reply. I do want to start playing though, so I thought maybe anyone has the answer!
Ohhh, I’ve fixed it already. I totally forgot I had to link my game to the NookLink app first. Sorry!
