I knew things would get a little shake up seeing so many new faces coming in post holidays, am glad to see some of my personal favorites climbing up a little, yay for Margie esp, a starter and all time fav of mine and Willow, and some others for climbing out of t five for a bit at least. Hope Gayle starts getting some love. But still glad to see some major changes since pre holiday where it was the same top ten for a long time.

I hate Rosie, to be quite honest. I used to have her as a dreamy but as soon as she moved in I started to dislike her! I don't even know why, something just turned me off her.

Julian is such a sweet villager - definitely my favourite after Diana. Hopefully Marshal can reclaim his crown soon enough as I just moved him into my town and I loooove him. He's so cute and sulky haha.

Marshal has had the crown for far too long.

He has had the crown for around 37 weeks since I started the Tier list.

Merengue is the second closest to that, with 15 weeks-ish, while the other number ones have not gotten close to that.

i'm extremely surprised and confused about rosie being number one tbh... i've just never seen anyone want her more than marshal or merengue or... pretty much any other tier 1 villager aha.

I think what has happened with Julian is that enough people were able to get him. A year ago at this time (January/February 2014), he was so heavily sough-after with selling that, I think, eventually people from that period (who are still active here) succeeded in getting him.

Though this has nothing to do with the purpose of Hound00med's list, I would love to see a hamster crack the Top Tier because, frankly, they're very cute. I have generally considered the deer to be the best-looking specie cast in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf." The hamsters are unheralded. The likes of Apple and Flurry are really popular here; but, Graham, Hamlet, and Rodney are also really good. And Soleil has this eccentric design that is not forgettable. (They're a new specie design for the "Animal Crossing" series with "New Leaf.") So, that's six of the eight already. Not bad. I'm more impressed with the cast of hamsters than the bulk of the 22 cats and 14 dogs. (That's just … me.)

Rodney is disgusting nightmare feul... i agree about soleil though, she's a southern bell? so adorable!
