Can someone explain to me why some villagers are more popular than others? I mean there are a few really hideous looking ones imho but other than those they're all cute. Do the tier 1 villagers say more interesting things/nicer/better house/etc??

To me i think it depends on how they look with the personalities that are given, and their house. But thats really just me. There might be a reason i dont know about

Villagers can always be annoying, I have a friend who doesn't really care about what villagers he has.The first two tiers have villagers that are in high demand and that people want. All villagers of the same personality type say the same things, I'm pretty sure the only thing that differs is their catchphrases. I personally like villagers from all tiers, but the tiers are based off popularity not how interesting they are or anything.

She was absolutely everywhere this week, being requested in the LF thread as much as the likes of Marshal and Rosie, while being requested more than the likes of Julian and Lucky.
