It's not going to help to say "Like who you like and don't worry what others think." While I do agree that the only opinion that matters is yours (in this type of situation anyway), it won't help to say it because people always want to know what's trending and people are anxious when they don't know what is so they're going to keep coming back here to speculate and continue to post.

Also this used to be very accurate in terms of what villager was in demand, like I said earlier it isn't (or wasn't) completely opinion based. It's just not accurate now because it hasn't been updated in so long. Though I'd argue that Beau is still probably number 1... Did you see that crazy thread auctioning him off >_> Ish got real hairy there.

All that aside... Just do what ya want... Ya know? If you wanna keep track of the trending villagers do it. If you don't, then don't.

Has there been any discussion about someone taking over this thread / making a new one to replace Hound00med? It's becoming increasingly obvious that Hound00med can't do this anymore. I'm concerned about his life and well-being just like everyone else, but at some point the show must go on. I don't know if there is anyone else who is willing to put in that time or if anyone else knows the methodology he uses to tier villagers, but I feel like there should be some movement on this front because we could be waiting a long, long time for Hound00med and this list could really use an update.

I know that he has a life and that's why it would probably be for his good that someone else who doesn't have a life who has more time on their hands does this instead. All I'm saying is that if someone else is willing and able to do this, then that someone should be given a chance. I'm not pissed at him; I just want someone who is willing and able to do this to be doing it and it doesn't seem like that person is Hound00med right now. I'm not afraid of him deciding to stop doing this because that's what he is effectively doing right now. If he is able to come back and do this, that would be great, but for now the tier lists shouldn't just be sitting in limbo. I understand that he has stuff going on in his life, but he said he was going update this on July 6 and didn't even come here and say something like "I'm sorry guys, but something popped up and I didn't have time to do this". Instead he continues to remain completely AWOL with no sign from him that he will ever update this list again.

I did ask for seeing this happening at some point, how exactly he went about his gathering of tier information or opinions on the best most accurate methods. As I am sick an unable to do work or school any further right now, beside the point, point is I have the time and ability have advanced education and time to take this task on, and take advice on best way or criticisms for changes of old way...not quite sure what that was is the issue...and have offered to do so. Whenever I questioned this very meticulous process for accuracy however I never got any responses as to how it was done or should best be done..just a lot of is hard work and accurate. That I can do, but initial question of how was done in past or could be improved not answered.

I agree people go by this, I have seen a lack of non cycle selling or auctioning due to non updated tier and price listings possibly.. and while I worry about the op, I do see someone with time and ability to put in the effort should take over for now and I am willing to do it. No one seems to have any info on the best process however but I do have the time and skill to do it if I know what people consider this accurate assessment to be..Otherwise can do it and explain how got the results but would like to help, and I would make it a priority so any advice or opinions let me know. But I am willing and able to help and do it as best suits community need. After saw comments made below note:

Please note, I am NOT trying to step on anyone's feet here, or do a takeover if I wanted that I would start a full blown site with my techy fianc?e but have no intent on that so please no lash out. If no one wants someone to keep their own updated popularity and tier/ price list for TBT then forget I offered, I was just saying I am at home with the time and tasks like this would be beneficial to me as well for something to work on that I can do while am dealing with being stuck home sick and only made the offer not even to take this over per we but perhaps another thread version for time being. But the idea seems unwanted. So was only a stand in offer for the community, doesn't even need be me but with so much extra time I would like to be helpful in this regard in any way, so just offering was all.

Ok, I see people feel fine as is, but if that changes I am willing to do weekly biweekly or monthly updates. Just let me know. Would obviously post it somewhere else..not sure where but when someone wants it may start looking into it if have advice on prior method let me know. Until then will just let it be.

he is a mod on reddit and he check frequently on tbt and tumblr, is that not 'multiple' trading sites?? so his opinion is based through multiple outlets. and don't give me a rude answer when all I'm saying was my opinion...

Those are multiple trading sites, yes, but his decisions are based purely off of what the users of TBT think. After all, it'd be quite silly if he posted what Tumblr thought were the most popular villagers when many people on here don't use or frequent Tumblr.

So no, it's only through TBT and not based off of multiple outlets.
