Where are the explosions?
I need to see about 50 shots of Dora and the others jumping out of something with the thing behind them that they jumped out of exploding with fire and debris everywhere.
Isn't is bad enough poor Eva Longoria is in this... movie? Who held the gun to the heads of Danny Trejo & Benicio Del Toro? What Devil's pact has been signed to punish these 3 fine actors?

The actress doesn't look like what I'd envision a live-action Dora as. I don't know why, but it just doesn't seem like her to me. Not even an older version.
This looks like one of those movies that is trying a bit too hard to be "edgy". I can't say I was expecting this. What's next, an Edgy? Blue's Clues?

There has been talk of a Clue reboot for a while, but no one can replace Tim Curry.
To be fair, Danny Trejo is regularly in some utterly trash things. I would go as far to say that being in the Dora movie probably still won't be the worst thing he's done by a long shot.

What is the movie market coming to these days... Whenever people do live action, they just take some things away from the original material (where the heck is the map, backpack and why does Boots not talk?!). Can we just take a break from reboots and stuff like these please?

I think the weirdest aspect to me is just that I can't tell who the target demographic is supposed to be, the tone makes it seem like it's for 12-year-olds, but the target audience of the show it's based on is preschoolers, and I honestly think that some of the more self-aware jokes along with the recent boom of nostalgia reboots wouldn't make me surprised if it's trying to aim to get nostalgic millenials and older Gen Z-ers who were preschoolers when Dora originally started airring to go to the theatre for nostalgias sake... (and on that note, it's totally working on me because I am unfortunately almost definitely going to go see it in the theatres)
