20m is far too low. His value is 70-120m on average. Anyone buying for less than 50m is just ripping off the seller.

You won't get Marshal for 20m, it's possible but extremely rare, some people give him away in giveaways so keep your eyes open


My friend recently got Marshal for 30m on Animal Crossing Community.

You're honestly looking for someone giving him away, no ones going to be accepting 20m knowing they can get 50m in 2 seconds by just posting 50m as the buyout price.

Villagers don't have set prices, they vary according to how much an individual would like. The big numbers mentioned is just greed and what people "see" rich and impatient (usually dupers) pay because they sh** bells.

I got Marshal for 10m and I've seen him get bought for 500K and given away for free. It all depends on the person selling. When someone gives you an estimated price for a villager, ignore it as there are people willing to give them away for next to nothing.

It all depends on the person selling.

I saw someone posting that they were going to dupe bells in order to pay for a villager.
I've gotten a few of my dream villagers for free, such as Whitney, Erik, Kyle and Bones. So there are some generous people out there who don't prey on the person wanting the villager by asking for large amounts.

It's ridiculous that people try to put you down because Marshal is "worth" more. I got Merengue, Diana, Colton, Bunnie, Stitches, and Maple for free. How? People were kind and didn't want bells - they just wanted the villager to go to a good home.
I just wish more people were like them. :x

It's unfortunate what kind of people are in this community. The greed is a cancer that is spreading very fast. I've seen someone get excited enough to post a thread in trade saying they had a popular animal in their campsite and didn't care for them, just wanted to know how much they could get for them. Sad and pathetic. Beetle hunting on the island is now considered a poor person's job or someone with no Internet.

This is the best community I've seen so I only use TBT. There's so many nice people, few scammers, so I hope to get lucky here (which I've met so many nice and kind people!)
