I have no idea what the people posting the 'actual' amount Marshal is worth but it certainly wasn't sensible. Criticising someone for offering a decent amount for a villager they like is plain wrong, regardless of the way you play it; with all these sarcastic 'good luck with thats' etc. I have been on belltree, gamefaqs, reddit and ACC and on every website the price of a villager varies because (guess what) value is subjective.
I've seen him go for free, I've seen him go for 15 million, I've seen him go for 60 million and I've also seen him go for 100 million plus all the unorderable sets in the game. Price varies. Bullying someone who is offering what they think Marshal is worth o them is just childish and the people who have participated in this should hang their head in shame.
