Tomorrow, early morning tomorrow we're going to watch the Lord Of The Rings.

one of my favorite things to do! i haven't binged the whole series in a long time, but i plan to within the next few months. they're probably my ultimate favorite movies. :')

I watched these a couple summers ago with my boyfriend. We watched the extended editions too, started around midnight, and ended up running into the wee hours of the morning when the sun begins to rise. I enjoyed them a lot at the time but I haven't found them to be particularly memorable, though that could be because I was very tired when we watched them, and I haven't bothered to read the books (at least not yet anyway).

I think I've watched them all, all the way through. Now when they come on TV, I usually stay for the start then just give up halfway cause they go on for ages, when there's ads included.

Never marathoned it but I do watch the extended editions of the entire trilogy once a year. Always a pleasure but I have to break it up into 2 parts per movie, it's simply too much to do in one sitting.

Usually only do it on flights to NZ since it takes that long hah but last time was Hobbit movies.

YES! Marathoned it a few times, extended editions no less! It's a commitment for sure lol but it's super enjoyable, at least imo. Have fun!

We happened to have the extended edition on Blu-Ray discs and a PS3!

I actually do this every Christmas break! Once my friend and I spent New Year's Eve marathoning all 3 extended editions and playing a drinking game where we drank every time 2 male characters had a really romantic moment. Tolkien clearly wasn't a huge fan of the ladies. That almost makes me miss drinking.

It's pretty overrated tbh. Probably would have been equally as fun with coffee to keep us up for all 12ish hours.

I've always wanted to do a marathon of all LOTR movies, especially because I own the whole box set and have never actually seen any of them. It's just one of those things I've never gotten around to doing. I feel like it'd be super fun as a date night thing or something,but albeit a little hardcore to watch 10 straight hours of movies.

My boyfriend and I watched all of the Hobbits and then all of the LOTR movies one weekend, he didn't make it through the Two Towers but I made it through that and then went to bed, it really is a super long time to spend watching movies... We watched the last one the next day when we woke up. XD

I binged-watched all of them in high school with a few friends, but I haven't watched them since. I've been wanting to binge-watch with my fiance since he hasn't seen them at all. I'd also really like to throw in The Hobbit since I've only seen half of the first one.
