Love: Is it possible?

I'm Asexual and Demisexual, but by some miracle I found my true love off Discord.
It's amazing because he's demisexual too and completely respects me being asexual.
He also plays animal crossing, but not as much as I do.
It took me a lot of relationships to finally find him.
So I think love is possible and that people can find the right person for themselves c:​

Fellow ace/demi here and that sounds really amazing. You give me hope that I too will find someone who truly respects who I am one day. I feel inspired now despite how extra tricky relationships are for aces.

As for the poll question it doesn't matter to me. It's a nice bonus if they play Animal Crossing as well, but I'm into many other series I'd love to share too. Plus the most important thing to me is who they are as a person and how they treat others, not so much as to what games they play.

My long term bf is not a gamer but he will indulge me and play ACNH with me time to time esp during like bug off or fishing tourney to help me get all prizes

I personally don’t mind that he doesn’t play ACNH bc he understands the importance of the game to me so if I show him pics of cute things my villagers did or give him an island tour, he’s very appreciative that I am sharing my love for the game with him and supports my hobby

Responding to the OP though, I would like to have a lover someday - so hopefully I do get into a relationship sometime in the future. I wouldn't care if that person was into Animal Crossing, though. As long as they're caring, have a wonderful sense of humor, and smokin' hot.

that said, i can't even manage to hold onto a close friendship at this point, so the chances of holding a romantic relationship for more than 2 seconds is low. that said, if i was lucky enough to find someone(s) that i was head over heels for and they felt the same, i wouldn't care if they played animal crossing or not.

Personally I don’t believe in love. If I met someone (which I’d rather not) the chances of them playing animal crossing is slim. Most 30+ yr old men are not playing animal crossing. I would never date someone online or that uses this site just based on the community.

my girlfriend and i are both """gamers""" and we play a lot of stuff together (whether we're actually playing Together or just streaming games so we can watch each other play), and that includes AC. actually our first date that we actually Called a date night was in ACNH, we tested diving together since it had just dropped. so i got lucky with her being an AC fan but even if she wasn't, i like spending time with her enough that it wouldn't matter.

as for the titular question: yes, i believe in love -- in the romantic form (as the question was implied to only be asking), in the platonic form... i believe in love and the many forms it takes, especially in contrast to some of the more pessimistic comments and takes i've seen about the topic

my partner and i have been together for 13 years come this july, and will have been married for three come october, and i've been in love with him from day one... so yes, i definitely believe in love <3 <3 love is definitely not all that makes a relationship last though; it takes a lot of work (mutual respect and understanding; the willingness to self-crit and enact change; learning to communicate effectively, etc) but it's absolutely worth it!!!

back in the day we played original AC together! we also played NL together; we both had a villager in the same town.
and now my partner has a villager on the island in NH! we haven't done it in a while but sometimes we play co-op <3 mostly though we just leave gifts at each other's houses haha
