Hiiiii, so I loved the first Luigi’s Mansion on GameCube, soooo nostalgic for me and really reminds me of my childhood!
I bought the second and actually enjoyed it but never got to finish it as my brother accidentally broke my 3DS and cause I was out with my friends a lot it didn’t really bother me!

I just wanted to know other peoples opinions before I go out and buy it! I’m also debating buying Pokemon, Zelda and Mario Party if anyone can tell me what they are like!😬

Never played Luigi's Mansion for Switch, but I have experience with Pokemon, Zelda and Mario Party. Which Pokemon are you interested in? Have you played other games in the Pokemon, Zelda and Mario Party series?

Last pokemon I played was probably a DS game I’m gonna say mystery dungeon. My favourite pokemon so far was probably ruby and sapphire! But I’ve played yellow, blue, red, emerald, gold, silver etc so am familiar with the game.
Last Zelda I played was ocarina of time and it was amaaaazing!
I’ve played all Mario parties except the wii one and they are pretty nostalgic for me but when looking at trailers and stuff it doesn’t really show gameplay as such!

also; thanks for responding!

I never played the mystery dungeon games. What are they like? I enjoyed Ruby and Sapphire on GBA but also enjoyed the remakes. Sword and Shield are just ok imo, but I liked the Let's Go games more. I think I've just outgrown the Pokemon games and only care to play remakes. Hoping for a remake of the gen 2 games in the Let's Go style.

Breath of the Wild is a very different game than Ocarina of Time. I spent around 200 hours on BoTW and while I enjoyed it, it didn't feel like a Zelda game. It definitely deviates from the games that precede it.

Mario Party is hit or miss. I spent maybe 20 hours on it and it was pretty fun but it doesn't have that same charm as the older ones. I was hoping they would release free updates for Mario Party as it's pretty bare bones as it is.

I generally liked Luigi's Mansion 3. I loved how every floor was like a unique theme(?) I do miss the environment of Luigi's Mansion 2 but I mean 3 isn't bad. I had a lot of fun and there was a lot of funny moments!

As in Zelda you mean Breath of the Wild? I actually bought my switch for this game. Everyone just kept talking about how much they loved it I got hooked it. It's very different from past games as it's open world. It's meant to be played however you want it. Want to there first go for it. I loved that aspect that you can play this game differently from everyone else.

As an avid pokemon fan I have to say Sword/Shield was lacking a lot. Ever since pokemon x and y these games I feel like they could have been so much better. Sword there isn't you know a group of bad guys like there has always been and it felt weird. I did enjoy the game but it felt small and I felt like I didn't have much to do. As soon as you where finished with my area automatically it's like time to head to the next town. It was all focused basically on reaching the next gym.

I have the Super Mario Party and it's fun with friends. The minigames are really nice as they're very different. Unlike in Mario Party 8 where all the games have similar movements so if you're good at say, moving the wii mote up and down, you'll win every game. There's more variety and imo they got more creative this time around. I haven't played it single player so I can't speak for that.

I've heard BOTW is really good and has a lot of content in it. I don't like Zelda games though so I don't have it lol.

I don't like sword and shield. They're unfinished games imo and they're trying to sell you content that was supposed to be in the games for additional costs. Super lame to me. I'm never supporting it. The newer Pokemon games don't have the same charm anymore imo. I played Ultra Moon and X and they both were just meh to me. Forgettable. I loved Alpha Sapphire though as Sapphire is my fav Pokemon game too!

I absolutely love this game but I might be a bit biased because Luigi is probably my favorite Nintendo character (after the AC characters).
I love the way he acts and the funny sounds he makes when he gets spooked by something.
I think the game is really solid and would highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the franchise.

I don't currently own it, but one of my friends does and he loves it. He's a big fan of the original on Gamecube. And from what I've seen of it it seems really cool! I just don't want to shell out so much money for it hehehhehh

I think I’m just gonna get it, last time I treat myself was when AC came out so why not! 😁
I do hope you enjoy it, It is a fantastic game and has 2 player with minigames as little side things so you can play with friends!

I hope you like it! I’ve been working my way through it and I really enjoy it. It’s such a charming game and a lot of fun to play. Especially with headphones/when it’s darker out!

I loved all the previous ones too so I think I will enjoy it! 😍

I didn’t enjoy Dark Moon, but I thought 3 was delightful. I actually wanted to find all the hidden secrets to every level and tried my hardest to get one of the better endings. I didn’t dabble much with the multiplayer outside of local coop however, that was fun to do with my little brother.

I have the game and it's decent but I guess coming from someone who doesn't play many puzzle games I end up searching up a lot of what to do and it doesn't seem that obvious of what I need to do at some parts of the game and it really takes away having to look up the solution. Maybe I'm just that smart/good at puzzle games but you might be into it

OP I know it's only been a few days, but did you get the game? How was it? Does it have multiplayer? I've been interested in the game but I've seen mixed reviews about multiplayer, some saying multiplayer function is not great and others mentioning it as a game with good multiplayer...

I’ve ordered it but it’s not came yet! Will definitely update you when I have played! I enjoyed the first on GameCube and the second on 3DS which was why I was eager about this one! ☺️

I got it a couple months after it came out, and I really enjoyed it. I was also worried that it may ruin the old one for me, or that the story wouldn’t make sense, but it was good. I hope you like it when you get it too!

I freaking loved it, but am horrible at puzzles so I did get a little frustrated at times. Also if you're a completionist like me be aware that you can't go back into the story after defeating the final boss! If you want 100% completion you need to do it your first playthrough.

I played Dark Moon and the game was decent enough. As for Luigi's Mansion 3, I really enjoyed it! Each floor has their own theme going and there are many things to collect especially money. Apparently, two people can play at the same time but I haven't experienced it myself. All in all, it's a great game! If you're curious how long it took me to finish it, 20 hours was the play time.

As for Zelda Breath of the Wild, ask yourself this: Am I playing it for the story or am I playing it for the adventure? For the story itself, there's nothing special to write home about. If you're going to play the game for that reason, you'd be let down. Because if you're that kind of person that likes to go exploring a lot, this is the game for you! I've sunk hundreds of hours into the game being pleasantly surprised by the things I bumped into along the way. Here's a tip when first starting out: Grab lots of food to cook and wear armor. The damage you take is dependent on the armor that you wear so if you're only wearing boxers, expect to take massive amounts of damage. It will only get more brutal as you progress throughout the game. Cooking certain ingredients will give you a stat boost. Some will increase your strength, others will increase attack power, and if you're not good at dodging attacks, cook ingredients that will boost your defense.

I've never tried out Pokemon and Mario Party as it never really appealed to me.

Thanks for going into detail regarding Zelda! My brother has it and said I could borrow it to see if I like it before buying for myself!
