recently i've been thinking about investing more in my skincare routine and also changing up the way i style my makeup. what are your holy grail products ?

I am obsessed with skin care but I don't use much makeup. I was able to pretty much eliminate my rosacea entirely, but I still use products designed for rosacea so it doesn't come back. I understand all these brands are expensive and I'm very privileged to have access to the products, but it was a necessary step in beating my rosacea.

1 (face mask, once a week): The Lush - Birth of Venus face mask
2 (exfoliating, once a week): Mario Badescu - Botanical exfoliating scrub
3 (cleansing, every night & day) : Mario Badescu - Glycolic Foaming Cleanser
4 (deeper cleansing, every night & day) : Roccoco Botanicals - Purifying Treatment essence
5 (under eye cure, every night) : Mario Badescu - Vitamin C serum
6 (toner) : Thayers - Rose witch hazel toner
7, 8, 9 (skin serums to stay fresh & glowy, every morning) : Glossier - Super pure, Super bounce, Super glow
10 (moisturize, every night & day) : The Lush - Enzymion
11, 12 (lip scrub and balm, every night) : The Lush - Mint Julips & Pure paw paw balm - Watermelon

- -OPTIONAL - -

ACNE - Glossier zit stick, Mario Badescu anti acne serum, Clean&Clear deep cleaning astrigent
MEDICATED ROSACEA HOLY GRAIL - Prosacea gel, Zinc therapy cleansing soap, Roccoco botanicals rosacea set
FAVORITE FACE MASKS - Tony moly - Cherry blossom, Green tea, & Wine

i'm glad to see people who are addicted to skincare like me! i have a list of a bunch of stuff i use from time to time! i have bad acne, and after using these products, they've really helped. i use clean and clear a lot, but i like to use others too! most of them are for acne though.

clean and clear bubble foam cleanser
clean and clear essentials foaming facial cleanser, deep cleaning astrigent and dual action moisturizer
mario badescu rose water spray
mario badescu anti acne serum
garnier micellar water
garnier soothing rose water facial spray
garnier hydrating aloe vera juice facial spray
palmer's cocoa butter formula

i use the clean&clear face wash and moisturiser and omg it actually makes my face clean and clear i??

Specific facial products:
- Lush Ultrabland cleanser for make-up removal. I vary what I use when I'm not wearing make-up. My main two I go between at the moment are Simple Facial Wash and Lush Angels on Bare Skin. I always use two different cleansers as part of a "double-cleansing" routine.
- Lush Celestial moisturiser: only moisturiser that has ever resolved my year-round dry skin.
- Body Shop Vitamin E under eye cream: reduces appearance of fine lines and dark circles. This is one of those products that I use more because I'm at that age where anti-aging has started to come into my regime.
:p

General facial products:
- sheet masks. I use a variety - right now I go between Body Shop sheet masks (the Vitamin C one feels great and smells amazing!) and some my mate brought me back from his recent trips to Hong Kong and South Korea. I can't read the writing so don't know what they are! I usually use one fortnightly but I've been trying to get into the habit of using it weekly!
- fresh face masks. I'm using Lush Oatifix at the moment but the best one I've tried from them is BB Seaweed. I use these 1-2 times a week (depends on if I use a sheet mask).
- toners. I rotate these. Currently using Simple Facial Toner.
- facial oils/serum. Lush Full of Grace is amazing. I picked up their Banana Skin one today though and I'm looking forward to trying it!

Body
I use Lush Ocean Salt for skin exfoliation (it's too harsh for my face even though it's considered safe). For body moisturisers I always have Body Shop body butters and Lush Charity Pot in my collection. My favourite Body Shop scent is strawberry, although I'm using one of their limited edition ones at the moment (cactus blossom) and it's gorgeous!

2 cleaners / toner / eye cream / moisturiser = I use every single time. In that order.

I?ve actually been using lavender soap as a cleanser for a while. I haven?t had much luck with cleansers so I just use soap and water with vitamin E cleansing wipes and a good NIP + FAB exfoliating scrub once a week.

Then I use a rose water serum, though right now I?m really into Glow Lab, which I believe is now an online and TK Maxx exclusive. I use their facial serum and moisturiser and I really love them. Primark also do some good skincare products.

I also use anti-age products and wear SPF 50 every single day, because it?s better to prevent than to repair.

I have gotten big into Asian skincare the past year or so! It has really helped my skin so much! And what's nice is a lot of the stuff is pretty cheap and not harsh for your face like regular western products!

Skin type: oily, acne prone, redness, pale af XD

I am trying to simplify my routine but it's easy to want to use everything!

I am obsessed with The Ordinary products and my routine will reflect that XD

AM Routine:
Rinse with water
Toner: either Mizon Aha & Bha Daily Clean Toner or Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
Essences: LJH TeaTree go Essence, Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power
Serums (as needed): The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG, The Ordinary Buffet + Copper Peptides 1%, The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Don't worry, I don't use all of these all at once everyday!)
Moisturizers: The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
Sunscreen: Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV

PM Routine:
Double Cleanse: Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil then Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam
Toners: The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution
Essences: Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power
Serums: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
Oils: The Ordinary 'B' Oil
Moisturizers: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

As needed products:
Exfoliants: The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling
Acne: Differin Adapalene Gel
Vitamin C: Rohto Merano CC Essence, The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%

Ugh I use too much stuff XD

Cleansing - I like the SoonJung foam from Etude House. I like Sulwhasoo's cleansing oil as well, but the price is very steep.
Toning - Benton's snail bee skin.
Essence - Either the Missha or Secret Key dupes of SK-II.
Serum/ampoule - Mad Hippie Vitamin C, Missha Night Repair and Reddy Cerassol.
Exfoliant - Paula's Choice 2% BHA. It's also good to use The Ordinary's BHA/AHA peel 2-3 times per week.
Moisturizing - Benton Snail Bee lotion. Clinique's moisturizing gel is good as well—my skin leans oily, though, so you may need something heavier.
Sunscreen - Skin Aqua Moisture Milk SPF 50!
Spot treatment - any 2-10% benzoyl peroxide product (I'm currently using the Paula's Choice one).

Generally, you don't have to spend a lot of money on makeup (L'Oreal, Rimmel, Maybelline & other "cheap" companies make some good products). On the other hand, some good department store brands include MAC, Benefit and IT Cosmetics. There are also trendy, inexpensive brands that I haven't tried, like ColourPop and NYX.

using Derma E acne cleanser + moisturizer every day has done wonders for my skin.
