I'm not exactly sure what to put in a blog, I never really did them as a recreational sort of thing but I thought I would give it a shot. I'll start off by saying a little bit about myself and my AC experience. Remember, this is my first blog so go easy on me.
I graduated High-school in 2009, struggled to find a job but found my life partner in the process. Then I gave up looking for a job and decided to to go University to increase my chances. Sadly, I had to move out of my partner's place and back in with my parents up north while I attended university. But I still go to see him every chance I get, even though the opportunity may not arise for months at a time. I'm staying with him for Christmas though, which I am very happy about.
I got to spend a couple of weeks with him this July. He lives in a popular city, so he is able to use street pass to his advantage on the 3DS. He mostly did it to try and find more people who were playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, some which we are both heavily into, but everyone was playing something different. One night he brought home a game, Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This is not the sort of game that he was into, so out of curiosity I asked why he got it. "Everyone's playing this, so I guess it must be good, right?" I was familiar with Animal Crossing games, but I had never played one myself. My partner gave it a go a sure enough a day or so later he goes "I don't get it." and consequently he handed the game over to me. I was skeptical at first but I got hooked pretty fast.
I started playing it on the plane back to my parents house. The first residents I had in the town were Mott, Gladys, Stitches, Bella and Francine. Mott looked A LOT like my partner, and they had a very similar name (Mat, Mott) Because of that, I have somewhat of a soft spot for Mott, I will never let them move out of my town, which I called Grimvale.
About a week after playing, I got inspired to do some drawing. I decided to draw a more realistic (if you could call it that) Mott. Called it Manimal Crossing.
I was pretty happy with the end result. I plan to do some more when I get back home of another resident, not sure which one though. At the moment I have:
Mott, Rasher, Bella, Cole, Gladys, Fang, Hippeux, Sylvia, Whitney and I have Kyle moving in soon.
