so i’ve done and torn down my island about 3 times, so this is my 4th shot at doing my island. i have a great entrance and start, problem is i’m kinda lost in what to do now!
would people be kind enough to show their maps and or certain parts of their island below for inspiration? thanks!!
I can send my island later. It’s a humble island, but for not being a serious ACNH power-gamer I’m really proud of it.
Based on your post, I will guess that you’re not an ACNH power-gamer either.
My best advice overall is to not overthink it so much that you never start. It’s easy to go “bah, I won’t try because I don’t have everything I need” and/or “I can’t do that because it won’t look exactly how I want it.”
That thinking will always leave you disappointed. Find an idea online, copy the good parts, add your own flair and feel accomplished afterwards.
Tl;dr pick a point and just start. Don’t be afraid to mess up and re-do things when a better idea strikes.
IMO the best place to start is to build a village for your towns people and the shops. This makes everything convenient to reach, and you can make it look nice with gardens and fun little displays.
