I dunno... This game idea just sounds incredibly stupid.

I admit, they could've done a better Mario-Sonic crossover, but think about it - this ultimately means that Sega is getting AWFULLY close to Nintendo... Sega buyout by Ninty, anyone?

This is strange when I went to the Nintendo.com website just a little while ago Mario and Sonic At the Olympics was moved from the thingy on the front page of Nintendo where it shows all these games in a Flash format

I don't think it's an April Fools joke. If they need rights to the Olympics name (I think they might), they wouldn't go through the troubles of doing it for a little joke.

I have an unrealized hatred for Sonic. I believe that video characters from 2 different companies should NEVER meet, with an exception of a fighting game.
Reasons I dont like this:

Sonic
Fusing two franchises in a horrible, inbred creation
Sonic
The 'Olympics'
Sonic
The fact that this is probably another minigame collection
Sonic
Sega
Sonic
The rising fact that Sonic will be in SSBB
