Mario Kart 8 DLC Featuring Animal Crossing Stuff

Hello, everyone! How are we all? I have some wonderful news, just wonderful! On May 2015, there will be some MK8 DLC! Now, I know that has nothing to do with Animal Crossing but listen here. In the DLC Pack, there will be two Animal Crossing Characters and a Cup featuring Animal Crossing called the New Leaf Cup, which also has an Animal Crossing track in it, respectively


Now, the main point I want to raise to attention here is... Could this be hinting that Animal Crossing Wii U could be announced really soon? Honestly, I think it could be announced in May 2015, either before or after the release of the DLC. So, what do you lovely people think? Am I just being a nuntce or could this actually be?

Yep, as the person above said! Also, it's all shown on the new MK8 update and the eShop, so it is official!

I don't mind this. I love Zelda and Animal Crossing, but I feel like they are taking it too far. It's Mario Kart, not Nintendo Kart =( I guess I'm too stuck on tradition

I heard about this a few days ago, only con is we have to wait until May for the animal crossing one to come out I saw an image of the track though and it looks AWESOME!!

I'm not bothered about tradition here. In fact, I would prefer all these 'Mario Does Thing' games to be more 'Nintendo All-Stars Racing' rather than just Mario franchise characters.

I pre-ordered the second DLC pack with the Animal Crossing tracks and Isabelle! I am super pumped for it to be released!
