Mario kart DLC

Definitely going to buy it. Despite what's being said about some of the graphics, 48 tracks for less than dollar CDN each is pretty stellar. I knew Nintendo wouldn't bring out Mario Kart 9 due to business reasons, so the fact that they're still going to give us SOME kind of Mario Kart content is perfect, in my book.

Definitely! I’ve played Mario Kart 8 a lot and this will add a lot more mileage to it. I look forward to playing a bunch of old familiar and new tracks. (I know all the tracks are “returning” but I never really played Tour all that much so those tracks will be new to me.

This is my thought too. I'd much rather pay a little to get more for a game I already have than buy an entire new game.

Honestly, if it wasn't available on the NSO EP I'd be unsure whether or not I'd buy it, since while I have MK8D, I haven't played it enough to really want to get the DLC right now. However, since it is coming on the NSO EP, I won't buy it and instead will just get it through the NSO EP once I upgrade to it in a couple off months.

Yes I will! New tracks mean more enjoyment for a game I haven’t played in a long while. I’m actually glad they’re releasing a DLC over a new game in the series since I just got MK8DX this pandemic and I didn’t wanna bench it for a new one right away 😅

I would've preferred MK9 over DLC for a 7 year old game, but I'll pick them up once more waves have been released. I don't play MK8DX enough to warrant buying the booster courses straight away lol

Definitely I AM SO EXCITED! I get to play Coconut Mall again! That was my mothers favorite! I do wish though that it was on Wii U... I know I am the only one though. I just hate all of the switch controllers. Wii Remotes/Gamepad are so much easier. I doubt my mother will play as she only likes the Wii wheel. I have played MK8 on Wii U to almost full completion but I barely touched DX. I WISH WE HAD WII WHEELS. Your not allowed to talk about those jokes of a wheel for joycons. I hate how teeny the controllers are even if my hands are smol beans.

Given how well MK8D has sold, this is a good way to be smart on their behalf and please most of the fanbase. It looks good, but they need to make Sky Garden longer than it is on Tour. If they revamped every GBA course they hadn’t already that would be great as well.

Yes. It's kinda sad that the graphics look so simple, but maybe they'll make adjustments til release. Not like Mario Kart is about graphics anyway.

On another note, I'd love the Balloon Battle maps to make a return too. I know we'll just get cups, but the ones on Mario Kart DS are just so iconic.

I loved battle mode. I actually played it more than racing. I always play battle mode more on Mario Kart games, but I think it got worse in Mario Kart 8. My favorite battle mode and the one I had the most memories with was Mario Kart Wii.

No need to buy it, since I already have the expansion pack. But I am definitely looking forward to it. Used to play with a group of friends online pretty often...but it ended up getting repetitive after a while. New tracks will definitely help with that. (I just wish they weren't going to take so long to come out). - Mario Kart 9 should easily be out by now instead. So...that is obviously frustrating.
