Mario Kart Or Mario Party?

I like Mario Kart better but I don't know why. What about you guys?

I prefer both. I’ve been introduced to both by past friends growing up, so I can’t really say I enjoy one more than the other. Each has their own charm.

Mario Party all the way. If Mario Party was kept up to the standards that Mario Kart has been kept to over the years, it would be such a popular game. It's a shame what has happened to it.

I was never a fan of mini game collections. I love Mario Kart, it’s classic arcade-y fun.

I like both with groups of friends but I prefer Mario Kart if I had to choose.

Most definitely Mario Kart. Mario Party has its moments but Mario Kart keeps me interested longer, plus I’m much better at it than the majority of most Mario Party mini games haha.

Tough call. I like the board game concept of Mario Party and I'd say I love the earlier Mario Party games more than I love any Mario Kart games. That said, I tend to get my butt handed to me in Mario Party, whereas in Mario Kart I can at least be competitive with my friends.

If I had to pick one, I guess right now I'd have to pick Mario Kart just because I can actually put up a decent fight in it. If I were a bit more skilled or if my friends were worse and we were more even, and if the Mario Party games didn't suffer a downslide in quality over the years like Trundle mentioned, then it would have been Mario Party.

I have played Mario Party with many friends, and many just never want to play with me again because I know the mini games too well or I'm just "way too lucky". I can definitely understand where you're coming from.

I really love both, but I wold say Mario Kart cause it's still fun to play alone, but Mario Party is always infinitely better when playing with friends.

Dunno how much time I've spent playing Mario Kart with my friends on the DS... but it's a LOT. So I'll go with kart!

I like Mario Kart a bit more than Mario Party. When it comes to Mario Party, I only enjoyed the Game Cube

In general, I prefer both games but in terms of the Switch I recommend Mario Kart. Super Mario Party isn't all that great. The mini-games are fun and I enjoyed River Survival but I get a LOT more play time out of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Which is a shame because I've always enjoyed Mario Party both by myself AND with friends.

But yeah in general, I like em both.

But Mario Kart. I like both of them, but if I had to choose it would definitely be Mario Kart.

I don't really play Mario Party all that much, to the point I can't even remember when or which Mario Party I last played. It's not a game I enjoy playing on my own for very long and the opportunity to play it with friends doesn't crop up much for me...Especially so when it's just "one of those" games that's infinitely more fun to play in the same room as the others playing it. A lot is lost playing online.

Mario Kart on the other hand I find fun with or without friends. If friends aren't around I still have the regular content to get through and stuff to unlock, it's also a game where I'm fine just racing against randomers online since I'm happy just having a few people that I actually have to try and compete with rather than the fairly stupid AI.

I loved Mario Party on my DS when I was like 6, I still have vivid images of the bosses engraved into my brain. However I'd have to choose Mario Kart, much more fun with friends and family.

I'd say Mario Kart because I've played it for much longer!
But I used to play a lot of Mario Party on the DS, it was a lot of fun!
I've always prefered Mario Kart games though, I love them because... well, they're fun and I like driving games I guess.
