Which do you like better? Why do you like them more?
What are your favorite superheroes? Favorite superhero movies?
Favorite comics?

I'll start things off by saying that I'm a Marvel freak. I'm literally obsessed with Marvel superheroes. Deadpool, Captain America, Starlord, Captain Marvel... I love em' all! My two favorites ave always and will forever be Hulk and Spider-man though. I grew up reading the Spider-man comics so they will always be my favorite. Rocket Racoon is makin' his way up there though. Honestly, Guardians of the Galaxy is my top favorite movie right now and probably will be forever. I've seen it so many times oh boy cx I'm also suuuuuuuuuper freakin' excited for a Deadpool movie. I've also seen the test footage trailer for that like a bazillion times~ Although Marvel is one of my obsessions, I will forever love Batman and all of his villains. How can I not? Robin? Eh cx I also love the Teen Titans from DC so idk. I guess I just prefer Marvel.
And remember... Groot is love. Groot is life.

I can't really pick. Marvel has the best heroes personality wise (Spiderman, Deadpool, Captain America), but DC has the best villains in my opinion (Joker, Klarion the witch boy, Brainiac). The heroes seem to love what they do in Marvel while the same could be said for villains in DC.

I like how they have two Captain Marvels though.

Marvel for me, I've been a huge X-Men fan since the 90s. I used to leap around the living room pretending to be a superhero when the cartoon's awesome theme tune came on the TV, lol. I find Marvel takes itself a little less seriously and the characters and story arcs tend to have a little humour, which I appreciate. I can't take things like Batman too seriously (although I'm enjoying Gotham on telly at the mo). Movie wise, my favourites are still the X-Men films, I'm obsessed with watching Days of Future Past at the moment! I also really enjoy the Thor films and The Avengers. I don't read comics any more though, but I keep up with most of the story-lines online.

I love Marvel movies for the most part, don't read any of the comics though. But sadly, none of the entirety of Marvel tugs on my heartstrings like Batman can. I'm the opposite with Batman however, don't love any of the movies, but have tons of comics I love, and the animated series and video games of course. I liked Teen Titans too. Even though Marvel seems to have more luck with films, Batman's pinnacle entries are enough to label me as DC, I think.

I wouldn't pick either. They both have their good and bad. I love Spider-Man and Batman the most, not a big surprise. I remember buying a crossover comic of the two of them when I was still a kid, which I loved reading due to how seriously Batman reacted to Spider-Man's sass.

In terms of animated series Batman will always be my favorite though. Especially Batman Beyond. That show was rad.

I love Marvel but I'm a bit bigger into DC just because of Superman.

Marvel, definitely. The only thing DC does better imo is animated movies and video games (Injustice is STILL amazing and it's been out well over a year).

Favorite superheroes: Cyclops, Emma Frost, Magneto, Magik, Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), Black Widow

Favorite (current on-going) comics: Uncanny X-Men, New Avengers, Ms. Marvel, All New X-Men, Uncanny Avengers, Magneto, Black Widow

Favorite comic series of all time: God Loves Man Kills, Avengers vs. X-Men, Secret Invasion, Civil War, House of M, Second Coming, Messiah War.

Favorite movies: All of the X-Men ones.

basic summary of my thoughts

The one with Carnage and The Joker? By Sithis, that comic was... uhhh... not good. I remember a Daredevil Punisher one that had exactly the SAME plot structure ("Hey, villain B, let's join forces! That's the spirit, with our powers combined, we'll overpower our arch-nemeses! By the way, I hope you don't mind that I'll stab in the back just before we win, just so the heroes can mop the floor with us later!") But I liked the few interactions between Peter and Bruce.

I grew with Marvel, especally Spidey and X-MEN, so even nowadays if I had to choose I know who choose, very clearly. Surely I don't have bad thoughts about DC but Marvel all the way.

I quite like Marvel and I don't really like DC. My favourite Marvel films are the X-Men ones :3

Ra's al Ghul and The Kingpin, I think. I bought the comic somewhere in 96, 97, 98, I don't remember the exact year. I was still fairly young and it was one of the few comics I could get my hands on, my mom didn't like me reading them. I'm also pretty sure she threw it away, because it mysteriously disappeared from where I stored it in my closet.

DC (They have the Teen Titans)

Marvel have the better movies but I prefer DC television shows, cartoons, and comics.
Only criticism for DC is that the new 52 sucks.

I prefer Marvel by far.

DC tends to have way more over powered heroes than Marvel to the point that it's boring because they can all basically do anything, with Superman easily being the worst offender. I just hate the over powered nature of DC heroes.

Marvel has it's OP heroes, but they are much fewer and far between in comparison to how many there are that could still realistically fit into the real world. An every day criminal has a very real chance of putting a bullet into Spidermans head, Punisher being beaten to death by a gang or Ironman suffering an electrical fault and falling to his death...You can't really say that about a lot of DC heroes, which to me makes it a tad boring.
When Marvel DOES have something overpowered as hell and above even a normal super heroes capabilities, it's more 'unique' and astonishing compared to what is usually seen from the company.

I can't say I enjoy the movies for either though.
With DC, it's simply because I have a bias against them.
With Marvel, it's simply because they're only focusing on a very select group of characters all the time, whether it's Marvel themselves or any of the other companies that hold rights to characters. They have so many characters and only the same few ever get attention, whilst others either get minor appearances or get completely destroyed for no reason (Deadpool...)
