Melody went back to the town hall and found Isabelle exhausted. "What's the matter Isabelle?" she asked. Isabelle told her about the statue. "Oh no. Well, see you." Melody left and went back to her house. She turned on the TV and sat there for a while, staring at the screen.
A couple years later the kids were 1-2 year olds. All five elemental royalties and Bellton each had a kid, six kids in total. Each pair had a boy and a girl. The boy inherited the father's powers, and the girl inherited the mother's powers. Each child had more power, potential, and perfection than their parents though. RACE was helping his son, Boulder, learn how to walk.
"No, you can't use your powers to help you learn. They're for fighting only." RACE said. Boulder was trying to walk by turning his feet into diamond feet. Boulder eventually stopped trying to use his powers to help him. He stood up shakily, and walked a couple steps. Then he kept walking. "Yay, you did it!" RACE said. Boulder pounded the ground happily.
Melody was making breakfast for Rose and Wind. They were vined to the couch, watching TV. "No! Don't-" Blues yelled before a loud crash was heard. Melody walked into the living room to find a broken TV. "Wind..." Melody chuckled.
After Melody's family finished breakfast, Blues went off to buy another TV. "Buy a flat screen!" Melody yelled after him. She sat down on the couch, watching Rose grow a flower on Wind's hair. "You two are just like me, a prankster." Melody said. She wilted the flower on Wind's head, making it disappear. She picked up Rose and put her on the couch, and bound her with a vine. She did the same for Wind. "Stay here." Melody said and walked outside. Crying could be heard from the house. She quickly checked her garden and walked back inside. "I'm right here." She said, calming down the babies.
Kumadon and her daughter Mesi, who already could walk, was at the beach. Kumadon was teaching her daughter how to swim. Mesi could talk simple sentences as well, but usually didn't talk. Mesi was listening to her mother contently.
"Now before we enter the water, I would like you to hold my hand. Remember what I taught you," Kumadon called out. Mesi nodded and grabbed her mother's hand.
"I'm ready, Mommy," Mesi said in reply.
They slowly walked into the water and as soon as it reached Kumadon's waist, they stopped.
"Okay so try to float without me holding your hand," Kumadon spoke with a calming voice. At first Mesi was nervous, but after 30 seconds, Mesi obeyed and floated. "Good job Mesi!"
Immediately, Mesi rose and stood on the water as it was like ground. She ran 50 metres away from her mother. Kumadon was surprised.
"Wow!" Kumadon shouted in excitement. "Okay, come back here! I think it's about time we have lunch."
Blues came back from the store with a flat screen TV. Melody put it up and said, "I think we should go to the beach. It's a nice day." They walked to the beach, and saw Kuma and Mesi. "Hey guys!" Melody said, putting a bag on a towel she spread out. Rose and Wind immediately ran over to Mesi, toppling her over.
Topplied by Rose and Wind, Mesi could feel heat at the back of her head. Assuming it was just the sand absorbing heat from the sun rays, she stood up and smiled at Rose and Wind. She always liked to see them two. She looked at her mother with a confused face.
"Mommy, where's Cousin Blaze and Auntie Josie?" Mesi asked.
"Your Auntie Josie is probably still teaching Blaze. Sorry," Kumadon replied.
Melody walked over to Rose, Wind, and Mesi. She ruffled Mesi's hair. "Hello Mesi." She said. She picked up Rose and Wind and put them a few feet from the water. Rose turned around and hugged Melody. "What's wrong, Rose? Afraid of water? Mesi's okay with water." Melody said. Rose hugged Melody tighter. "Mewodee." She said. Melody picked her up. "What did you say!?" She asked. Rose grabbed Melody's hand. "Mewodee." She said. Melody smiled. "Yay!" Melody said, putting Rose down. Rose walked over to the water and put her toe in. She waded out to her waist. So did Wind. Melody waded up to them. She grew seaweed for them to play with. She sat down in the shallow water.
(I had to look up a good water name. XD I originally thought of Crystal but I decided to look up really good names. I just thought that Blaze was a good name for a fire elemental and I didn't even look it up.)
"It's such a nice day, isn't it Melody?" Kumadon said, smiling. "Mesi is learning things so quickly."
