Figuring Kuma already had left, Melody walked to the beach, where she knew Kuma was. "Kuma...both me and you are missing someone in that town. Me, you, ACE, and Blues can leave together so we can beat them easier." She sat down.
For what seemed like five minutes, Kuma was in silence, staring at the ocean in front of her. "I guess so," she spoke and stood up immediately. "Should we leave tonight?"
"Yeah." Melody answered, staring at the ocean too. "I'll get some clothes and food ready. I should tell Blues and ACE. I'll be right back." She ran to tell Blues and ACE.
Kuma was again alone but didn't really care as she knew that Melody wouldn't take too long. She grabbed an apple from her bag and ate it. The apple was delicious.
"Me!" Melody said proudly. "I'll get the food and clothes, Blues can call his buddy there, ACE can prepare the other stuff, and Kuma can help me." She walked back to her house. Along the way she picked up weeds and went to Mott`s house. "Mott...you home?"
"Yeah, hey lamb."
"Would you mind being the substitute mayor while I'm...staying in Caramel City for a few days?"
"What? Okay."
"Now, don't start any PWPs or ordiances. Don't make DJ KK put your picture on the screen, and DO NOT go into my house. Got that?"
"Yes."
"Okay. Good. I'll go tell Isabelle." Melody told Isabelle at the town hall and went to her house and ate an early lunch. She started packing food and some of her clothes.
ACE summoned five undead guards at the beach that climbed out of the ground. One was a ghost, one was a vampire, one was a zombie, one was a werewolf, and one was a wizard.
"What are your commands?" They chanted in unision.
"I need all your help." ACE replied.
ACE told them all about the story and how he needed their help to fight the gang. He knew Melody, Kuma, Blues and himself weren't enough, so he recruited their help.
ACE walked beside them in a line to Melody.
"I summoned some undead guards to help us, in case we're outnumbered." ACE said.
"Are you almost ready?"
"Yeah, I just need to pack a few more fruits and...done! Let's go!" Melody put a backpack on her shoulder and gave one to Kuma and ACE. When they got to Blues' house, she gave him one too. "The backpacks have some food and Kuma's and mine have clothes, since you two don't need any." She told Blues and ACE. They arrived at the train station. It was 8:00 already.
After having access to the train, the crew immediately went on and sat at an available seat. The train started to move and Kuma spoke, "I'm so thankful that you all are helping Melody and I find our beloved."
"Yeah." Melody sat down next to Kuma. "I packed some clothes to make us look like them, with help from Blues." Melody gave each of them black clothes and either a ski mask or ninja hood. She put her clothes and ninja hood on. ACE and Blues put clothes on too, not to attract attention to themselves.
"Gangtown, all people getting off at Gangtown exit now." Porter said as they finished changing into their clothes.
"Okay, let's go." Melody stepped off the train to see something horrible.
What the crew saw was horrifying. Graffiti, broken windows, litter everywhere and so many burnt houses. That wasn't all, there was many children and women homeless, begging on the streets. There was no nature at all and the worse part of it all was there was so many security guards on patrol. Who would want to live here?
(Blues asked for me to play his character.)
"Let's ask the guards." Melody walked over to a guard. She said in a low voice, "Where are we keeping the one named Luna? I was sent to watch over her."
"Prison cell #900." The guard said and walked away.
"That's a lot of cells." Melody said. "Let's see, #1's to our left and #2's to our right, so let's go right." They walked until they reached #50. That was a dead end.
"You girls lost?" A young voice said.
Kuma turns to the right and sees a girl about the same age as Luna holding a teddy bear. She looked so similar to Luna. Kuma was aware that she had to keep up the act, so she went into a low voice and said, "Yes, we're quite new here, can you show us the way to cell #900?"
The girl didn't look convinced. "You don't work here, don't you?"
The girl wasn't convinced but still showed them the way to cell #900. Kuma lightly pushed the girl away and said, "For your help, we might give you more food." Surprisingly, the cell was unlocked so they entered it but what they saw, was shocking.
Luna was in chains, she was covered in blood and the worst of it was that it was, her blood.
"Prisoner, wake up. You, little girl, get back to your cell!" Kuma commanded, still attempting to keep up the act. The girl ran off and as soon as she left, Luna woke up.
Luna was traumatized. She kept mummuring something that sounded like, "Get away you ********!"
Kuma and Melody went closer to Luna and before Luna could scream, Kuma covered Luna's mouth. "Shh Luna, it's okay. It's me your big sister."
Luna's face lightened up however she unable to hug or even move. Luna opened her mouth but quickly shut it.
"I missed you Luna, and by the way, this is Melody, a friend." Kuma immediately hugged Luna.
