In most programs (I know from experience in Photoshop), holding down shift whilst moving the nodes of the image will keep the proportions the same.
kay thanks

do you know how to brush a soft brush? it says to do it on the tutorial but i dont know how to

My knowledge comes from Photoshop, so it will most likely be different for gimp

To change the brush to soft, you move the slider for hardness till the brosh is soft; alternatively, you can press shift, and the left bracket key "["

I lost all respect for you when you said you don't like Death Note. :p

Just kidding! :]

Those look a hell of alot better than your first one. Pretty good! :]

Nothing really blends well, no lighting, and it's kind of sloppy. I don't think it's particularly bad, but it's not really my cup of tea tbh.

The second one is alright but for Crabapple's sake son use some color. I stared for ten seconds at it waiting for a color explosion of GOD LIKE PROPORTIONS to happen. I am disappointed that it never did.

No problem, anytime. ;)

I'm trying to learn image-editing so your creation is still a masterpiece to my eyes.
