I started crocheting on Tuesday so thought I’d share some of my creations here!

my first attempt at a project this was meant to be a snowflake

Then, my second attempt at a snowflake using a different pattern. A little better!

I made a hat but ran out of yarn so it’s too small for my head this really helped me practice the hand movements of stitches!

I made a teddy for my nephew - amigurumi is one of the reasons why I wanted to start crocheting. One of my friends makes adorable teddies and I was inspired to start! This was difficult and I found sewing the parts together really hard the second picture is a sweater I made for my friends sphynx kitten! The yarn I used for it is 100% cotton and it is SO satisfying to crochet with. Definitely going to invest in more of it. I also feel like I have to knit him a jumper now because he looks so cute with it on!

Then today I made a turtle, I’m so proud of how this turned out. Even though there are mistakes I’m definitely improving with my tension/counting!

I just sent her parcel off today so will share some pictures of her wearing it once it arrives. I hope it fits because I just guessed the sizing I originally made one using chenille yarn (really soft) but messed it up so opted for cotton. Not as soft but may make another using chenille in the future!

WIP of a goat I’m making for a friend! So far I’ve got the head done and 2 legs. Taking it slow with this one! I can definitely see an improvement in my stitches.

I also drew squirtle today (my partners favourite Pokémon) as we’re both obsessed with the pocket trading game atm! Might do some more of these. I feel like I hardly draw anymore!

So about me taking the goat crochet project slowly… I ended up finishing it last night/this morning I have a hard time stopping things once I’m really focused on them so ended up powering through it for a few hours. So happy with how it turned out! I really hope the recipient likes it.

waaaaa, your goat is so precious!! it looks so soft and adorable, I could just hug it!! I love the colours as well; reminds me of neapolitan ice cream! I'm sure the recipient will adore their new little buddy!!

It's insane to me that you only started crocheting recently—everything you've made so far has looked so fantastic and well-made! I can't wait to see anything else you make and decide to share!

Need to do the claws and sew the tail on but otherwise she’s finished !! I’m a lot happier with this sloth compared to the previous one. I can definitely tell my stitches are a lot neater!
