More Halloween Items

I really wish they would add some new Halloween items with this upcoming update. I feel like the current items lack variety, as they're 90% pumpkin-based. What about bats? They're completely overlooked, unless you count (and I don't) the pumpkin arch and pumpkin hanging lantern which are decorated with them.

I just feel like there should be new wallpaper and flooring added (again, way too much focus on pumpkins here) with more of a Gothic tone to it than a childish cartoon theme. And I know there are bats included in both the wallpaper and flooring but they're so small they're almost unnoticeable.

It doesn't seem far fetched to expect more because PC is continually receiving better content than NH and PC is free to play. I mean, it constantly has better clothes, items, and decor. Just look below, there's a frilly little Halloween dress, bat decor and a coffin! Plus that bench is odd but intriguing.

Previous AC titles had better Halloween items, but those were completely omitted and not replaced. But if I have to be blunt, previous AC titles had way better content in general.

I guess I'm just disappointed. I would have thought that a year after ACNH was released we would have much more of the old content, or at the very least, more new content. I mean, it's still a great game and I'll pick it up when I miss talking to my villagers, but I just feel like it falls short and Nintendo isn't concerned about it. Unfortunately, to me, it feels like NL was the end and NH was a half-hearted attempt at continuing to profit off the previous titles' successes.

I feel the same way I do like the items we have, and the handhelds are cute, but I'd love to have something like the creepy set or the tombstones to decorate with. Pumpkins alone are too one-note for me.

There could always be more! I don't particularly miss the Spooky furniture series from New Leaf, though.. But the Creepy set was nice

I have an inventory filled with lots of last years items so I also feel it might be funto get a few new ones as it would get me more exciting to find and craft those. I would also love to see more purple or just colours in general in the items, I'm not a big fan of the customization options on the ones we have now (the black, white, grey, green colour schemes in particular)

Halloween is my favourite holiday it makes me sad we don't have more and nicer Halloween items I can not play pocket camp anymore as it makes me sad seeing all the cool items

well yeah, this is why I'm still actively playing New Leaf and the OG whereas I basically quit New Horizons like 4 months after it released lol

I love the pumpkin items since I can use them for all of fall and not just Halloween. We could always use some more Halloween items. It would be great to get the creepy set NL set back. I miss the creepy cauldron and creepy crystal.

It would be sooo nice if they added the old flooring from new leaf. They brought back the old wallpaper but decided not to bring back the flooring.
These were my favorite. Halloween is a nice time to bring that back. A couple of dead trees would be nice as well. The creepy coffin also. I’m not even asking for new content, just what we had before. Though new content would be a plus.

I do love the halloween items and I would always be happy to have more items. But I am admittedly "satisfied" with the Halloween items, as in I wasn't left feeling disappointed by Halloween in general unlike Christmas, which I felt was a huge let down with barely any items and the ones that did exist were harder to obtain. In fact I really enjoyed the Halloween event and time leading up to it last year, so I am happy with it as a whole.

So yes to feeling satisfied, but open to the possibility of more.

I made use of the skeletons, throwback skull radios, wedding candles and cobwebs along with the pumpkins.

I agree that the current crop of Halloween decor is pretty one-note in that it is all pumpkin-themed and could be expanded to include other areas like bats, haunted houses, etc. However, I don’t think the pumpkin set is bad— far from it. I love the execution of the designs, and the Halloween set is my favorite of the ACNH holiday bunch.

What I like about fall that there are multiple seasonal sets going at once, including Halloween. This make the game far more enjoyable than say, the summer, where it is basically just blue shell season (and not a very good set, at that, unless you have a nautical thing going).

Yes, we need MORE! This has been a recurring complaint among NH players. PC gets all the great stuff...and we're still stuck with our pumpkins. Now, don't get me wrong. Our current pumpkin theme (the new spooky series) is nice but we need more variety! More variety means more innovation and there's only a limited number of innovative things you can do with the pumpkin Halloween items. I really, really want to make a proper haunted house. Now, there are furniture that you could use for haunted houses like skeletons or fake ancient statues but I really miss NL creepy set like items. Furniture that isn't just pumpkins. I am hopeful that maybe the new 3 Halloween items were in the update last month to prepare a proper Halloween update with new items and maybe new DIYs.

Like people have stated above, the Creepy set is a must. I'd love to make a haunted house and I feel the current item selection is lacking to say the least.

Considering I wanted to do a spooky area on my island, yeah, I'm disappointed. I've still managed to do it, but something like a Creepy Cauldron would be so much better than the Kettle Bathtub. I was looking forward to the Spooky Trees, but then I saw it had pumpkins dripping from it and... Eh. Kinda ruins them, I think, when we already have an arch filled with 'em.

Also, there's a serious lack of bat villagers items in this game. Halloween is more than just pumpkins and candy.

i personally really like the items that we currently have, but i feel like a lot of them feel/look more like regular autumn items than halloween ones, if that makes sense. like, i love the spooky table, tower and carriage, but they don’t feel or look very spooky at all imo lol.

i’m not sure of every halloween item that pocket camp offers, but i’d definitely love to see them in new horizons! i’d also love to see the creepy set from new leaf return, as that set had some great items in it! i’d particularly love to have the bat stone, cauldron, coffin, crystal and skeleton back.

i don’t have the words to describe just how badly i want this in new horizons LOL.

I love Halloween, and more content is always fun. New costumes, maybe? Food items we could hold, like a caramel apple.

To be honest, what I'd most like to see expanded are new tree's bounty items, like a fence to go with the arch.

As much I like Halloween from last year I wished there was like more Spooky items. I would've hoped we would get to see more Spooky items like for example: Spooky Bed, Spooky Vanity, and Spooky Wardrobe. I mean come on seriously. They haven't give us back the Halloween furniture from past AC games. I like the Spooky items don't get me wrong they are really cool and I enjoy customizing them with Pumpkins, but still I would've want more items and variety. A lot of it is just "outdoor" items instead of "indoor" items.
