Most played AC game?

I love Happy Home Designer so much...I keep going back to the game and redesigning villagers' buildings in order to give my head cannons to most villagers, which are still currently under construction, even if I have already been long finished with the game.

I'm pretty certain it's New Leaf, but I did sink plenty of hours into Wild World when I was little. In New Horizons I haven't sunk anywhere near the 500 hours the gold Phineas badge NL rewarded!

Either Wild World or New Leaf. I know I had more hours playing ACNL than ACNH. It’s not because I liked ACNL more, but rather because of how challenging it is to set up and design one town, which has been less of a problem in ACNH.

Hard to say for sure, but I'm pretty sure my most played Animal Crossing game is the original for Gamecube. One of my all-time favorite games! 2nd place is either Wild World or New Horizons, it's probably pretty close between them..... and 3rd place the other of those two.

Definitely New Horizons. After I hacked my New Leaf save (I quit playing online before doing that), I made that town look almost the way I wanted, then got super bored and very rarely played it after that. After I got New Horizons the day after its release, I played it for at least 20 minutes every single day for an entire year straight; not even joking. I'm pretty positive I've put over 3,000 hours into it, and I rarely play other Switch games even though I have quite a few. I don't play it daily anymore as villager conversations have become super stale for me, but the fact that this game's customization features are insane compared to older titles supports my statement pretty clearly.

When the next game gets announced, spinoff or not, you can pretty much guarantee that my hype level is going to skyrocket again.

New Leaf... without a doubt. I'm a little afraid to see how many hours I sunk into that game. Although the customization pales in comparison to New Horizons, it was much more fun to play with others and I made many friends.
