How old were you when you played your first Animal Crossing game?

i had just turned 9 in 2014 when i got new leaf. i was obsessed with it even before i got it, i watched a bunch of the trailers and saw that one of the main premises of the game was customization. i feel like lots of kids have a fascination with wanting to “be” an adult and that’s what excited me the most about this game. the fact that i could essentially own my own home, live my own life, and decorate my character all inside of a video game was something so amazing to me at the time.

I was 13 when I first played the Gamecube version, but it wasn't my game. I didn't officially start playing until I was in my early 20's with City Folk and Wild World together.

i have high hopes for city folk, for when I can play it by whatever means. Ive no Wii or computer to run it properly, yet

It was 2013 when I first played New Leaf, I was 21 at the time. When I learned about the game I had to buy it instantly. I remember ordering the game before I even owned the console. Love at first sight

I got Animal Crossing: New Leaf when it first came out, so somewhere around the age of 25. I was certainly a while ago, but it's the only game I've played in the franchise.

I was probably 11 or 12 when I first got City Folk through a game rental. I didn't get the game when it came out because I didn't even know the game existed! I have never seen any commercials or ads for Animal Crossing, the only exposure I had was playing the main theme in Wii Music!

I was 16 when I played New Leaf as my first Animal Crossing game in 2014. It became my favorite in the franchise, mainly because of all the customization options and the lovely music.

My first was city folk, was bored and wanted to do something new. So i rented the game. I think I was 10. But NL felt like the first game since i enjoyed it more. My sister was the one who kept telling me to get new leaf. Eventually my sisters got the game first. Since they basically excluded me in everything and wouldn't play any other game on 3ds with me. So I got new leaf to be able to play something with them. I remember how upset i was but then that day i finally got NL. October 1st!
