Lol this is an interesting one! Black for me, although in pocket camp my mayors hair was pink. I feel like special colors may be more unusual because you have to pay nook miles to purchase and people may not even bother?

I use dark brown because I have dark brown hair in real life. In new leaf and pocket camp I switched up my hair color more often. In those I used the dark blue hair and white hair colors. Sometimes I consider using the blue or white hair color in new horizons, but I like using my natural hair color!

I have a pink bob, originally in an effort to copy an iconic Amy Lee look from Everybody's Fool, by Evanescence. I've kept the same hair style since Wild World, way back in 2006. Although now the bangs are different and the bob is longer in NH, it still looks cute! I have dark ash blonde hair IRL, and the game doesn't have anything even close to my real color (nor do any other video games I can think of), so I'll probably have pink hair forever!

Black seems to be the easiest for me as it matches most of my outfits - but I do like pink, and bright red occasionally

Kinda sad that the white of earlier games isn't available atm - the closest shades are still too grey (and I don't mind grey but a pure white option would be a nice addition, especially now that we can add eyebrows to our characters - I could finally achieve a Haru Sohma look lmao)

also as a side note: MOAR hairstyle options, 'teno, pls - or even wigs. Pocket Camp had so many good ones I'm missing right now

Mine is pink now since there's no white option anymore. If I wanted it to match me irl I'd do reddish brown. I change up the pink sometimes to a different pastel color to be monochromatic with my outfits.

I try my best to make my villager look as much like me as possible so she always has short brown wavy hair like I do IRL. I was very happy to see the increase in wavy hairstyles for females in NH. I feel represented
