I'm very bad at designing!! But I REALLY took my time with the hotel, I put it down and came back a few hours later any time I got stuck and it all turned out so well! I feel very proud of my hotel. I especially love my lobby ;w; If you want to look at it, here's its ID number. I put the screenshot album in the spoiler if you just wanna see photos instead of visiting~ I just wanted to tell everyone how proud I am :0 It's not perfect, but perhaps when I have more furniture I can come back to perfect it!
Since none of the villagers ever use the seats I put behind desks for them to work at (except at the office), I started replacing the seats with various other things to make the scene look more animated. A skeleton cashier, a robot butler, lucky cat business man... the robot and lucky cat are especially silly because they can barely see over the desk!
Skeletons basically started to go in every one of my HHD scenes because i just think they're really funny. There's a big spooky skeleton behind the desk! Ahhhh! It's okay though, he's there to help. This is his job, sir. Please do not patronize the skeleton.

I might add on to her house later, but here's Peanut's house that I just designed (or rather, redesigned in about three or more game days 
). I decided to stick with Peanut's theme "Land of the Free" ~ only, minus the doughnuts . While I wish it could look "cooler," I'm happy that I could at least make it unique to me. :]

The first cell is the torture chamber. Since Peanut's theme was "Land of the Free," I thought it'd be fun to design her house with a political theme in mind. I attended Jame's Yee, a Chinese-American former chaplain for the US Army lecture in 2007 at my university about his experiences at Guantanamo Bay, which for some reason I thought of when I first started wrapping my brain around the idea of making my room have a political theme or message to it. The book on the ground would represent how he described the the prison guards handled the Qu'ran roughly and how they used religion during their torture; I used an American flag qr code from https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/15/a5/13/15a513525540f50c20e67a581003f562.jpg (not sure who made it since it was no longer on the server when I clicked on it in pinterest. The flag is right in front of the lab seat because from what I learned in the lecture, when the prisoners were tortured the flag was always right in their faces or present in the room.
The next cell contains Ankha's picture, Curlos and Olaf's picture, and a Skeleton figure; this cell has nothing to do with the other cell and the entrance area of the room also has nothing to do with the theme behind the first cell. All of the items were selected for a reason; originally I was going to get rid of the "Enjoy" sign that Peanut required me to use for her theme, but later, I changed my mind.

Samson's picture gives a partial, small hint to my room's message (plus, it's a reference to a quote made by Theodore Roosevelt about his Big Stick Policy)
